We stopped late one evening for a glass of wine while staying at a local hotel and were pleasantly surprised. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the service was good. They offer a nice selection of wine so it's not just for craft beer lovers. Liked that you can walk just a few steps from several motels. Will stop again.

We have stopped for a drink and bite to eat each trip to Bluffton....never disappointed! The food is good. The atmosphere is great! Last night (Thursday) there was live acoustic music on the deck! It looks as if this might be a locals hang out too....which I believe is a good sign!

While visiting family in Bluffton, we stopped in for a bite. That was the first meal there. The food, service and atmosphere was so amazing we ate there 3 more time!!! This was the best food we found in the area. The Grouper Rueben was so incredible that I ate it 3 times. My wife was stuck on the fish... More

I was staying in the Bluffton area for two weeks and had several meals at the Ale House. All the meals were good, but the blackened grouper wrap was absolutely wonderful! There is indoor and outdoor seating and life music on some evenings. The service was always OK.

There is not much in Hardeville , where we stay. Front desk at HIE (another review ) said very good comments from people who stayed here about Okatie Ale House in Buffton but was only about 7 miles away. Restaurant has great atmosphere, food is very good and so reasonable. Was very busy and staff was on the ball. Would... More

The food was very good and the prices were low to moderate compared to other restaurants in the area. I really liked the tiki bar out back and the live music. Wednesday nights are known for great live music and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was a plus that this place was next door to the... More

Went here on a Thursday night and sat on the back patio. I had the pulled pork sandwich, which was excellent. There was live music and a fun atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Wishing I would have gotten the name of musician that was playing. Overall the atmosphere was amazing. I got the BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich and it was absolutely amazing! I would mark this place as a must if you are coming to the Island or the Bluffton area!

Food is good but wait time after order taken is horrible. After waiting 45 minutes for food to come to table, we sent meals back to kitchen......no food is that good to wait that long especially with children.
