Two thumbs up!

This was our second visit to the Okatie Ale House and this time there was fabulous live music! The Okatie Ale House has a following that's for sure, many regulars visit for the great food, outside bar/patio, and entertainment. We tried the special which was a fried seafood platter and it was... read more

We stopped at the Ale House with our grandaughter while driving her home to Florida from camp in North Carolina. Her Tuna Melt was served as two scoops of tuna salad, each on a half of an english muffin with the cheese melted on top. My wife declared the Coconut Shrimp to be the best she ever had - crispy,... Selected the Ale House one evening for dinner while visiting in the area. Dinner was excellent, fresh and made from scratch. Service was great even with a full restaurant and patio and a waiting line. Very Tasty!

Have never gotten a bad meal in 5 years--everything on the menu is served quickly, with a smile. Try the fish and chips--down here in the Low Country, fish and chips means grouper and sweet potato fries-y'all try it. And, their shrimp salad, made fresh, contains huge hunks of shrimp and light mayo. 1/2 a shrimp salad sandwich and a... More

I go to Okatie Ale House at least once a week because the food is fresh and home made. I highly recommend the Macadamia Chicken Salad which is big enough for two meals. It is the best juiciest chicken being served in this area. You can always find something healthy to eat as a lot of other restaurants of this... More

I asked hostess if I could sit outside. She said yes but to sit on the right because a summer camp group were on the left enjoying ice cream. I sat for 20 minutes, saw a waitress once check on the campers, but no one checked on me. I finally just left.

We had a very enjoyable meal. The food was excellent with great service and a wonderful, casual atmosphere. We are looking forward to trying many of the other interesting items on the menu.

Was here for lunch---food was good. I had the low country rueben and my husband had a grouper wrap---both were were delicious. On a previous visit I had the turkey burger which was very good. Loved that you could get fresh fruit as a side. Prices are reasonable, food is good and waitstaff friendly but the service was slow on... More

We had dinner here twice in our 4-night stay in the area because it is so convenient to the Fairfield Inn, where we stayed. It's very popular and fills up early in the evening. The inside is dark and rustic, with several large TVs at ceiling height, tuned to various sporting events. There is also an appealing-looking outdoor dining terrace... More
