Fish on Sunday

Sunday menus change in most restaurants because of Brunch so I was glad to be able to have Low Country Reuben, which is flounder with swiss cheese, and was very good. A large portion. The sweet potato fries were not crisp enough for my taste, but a large portion. Others ordered French Dip that... read more

Okatie Ale House is just outside Sun City's gates, which makes it a great location for residents. They don't take reservations and there is usually a wait to be seated, but once you order, the service is quick and food is delicious. Their fajitas are the best around and the portion is so large, it feeds 2 persons!

We had fish and chips and fresh brewed ice tea for lunch. Nice portion and very good. Good service! TV's, regular tables, high tops and seating at the bar and outside seating by the water. We sat inside as it was 90*+ outside.

This restaurant is one of our favorite local dining spots. It is a great place to quickly get a really good meal (lunch or dinner) and a drink in an informal "pub setting" with great service. We can always depend on good and friendly service and plenty of food to eat at a reasonable price. This is a traditional "pub... More

Great cosy atmosphere. Has someTV for the sports-minded. Nice outdoor eating area with bar and many times live music. Best item on menu is the crab-corn chowder. Second place would have to go to the pot pie (either chicken or seafood). Portions are generous and the prices are reasonable.

A great place to sit back and relax with friends. Full bar, outside seating most every day, even in winter. Really good salads if you want something on the light side.

So me and my boyfriend love this place and since I recently moved to an area closer we tend to visit here as much as we can. We decided to make s trip out a few nights ago to watch the cavaliers game. We grabbed a table outside and were greeted by our waitress I believe her name was Diane... More

6 of us showed up for lunch right around the time the Ale House opened. We were promptly greeted and the waitress took our drink order. Our food order was taken and the food tasted amazing! There are a lot of choices on this menu so you wont be disappointed. All 6 meals were prepared correctly and everyone loved their... More

This is a place with great food and generally good service. BUT the inside restaurant is a cavernous echo chamber and when you get people talking and sports events on TV blaring it is hard to visit with companions. Our solution was to sit out on the patio with the smokers which is not ideal but when the wind is... More

This is a fun place. They have great food - love the strawberry and spinach salad, great pizza, love the fried shrimp, they have the best onion rings you have ever tried. They have a wonderful happy hour, you can sit out on the lovely patio and enjoy the outdoor bar
