Went for a drink, had two, and tapas after a busy day and evening. Terry makes the BEST dirty martinis and we had outstanding service from Jennifer. It was very busy but the service shined! In a rut for their calamari starter, but as good as ever. Love their hummus on the hummus starter. Angus sliders and shrimp etouffee "ramen... More

When you see locals sitting at the bar in a cool restaurant you can pretty much figure it is good. Met friends from the area here and was very pleased with the ambiance, the service and the food. I figured they are local and would know where to go and this was their choice. I'll go back next trip.

We had to wait ten minutes to order and waitress kept waking by and not checking our drinks or seeing if we needed anything. We eventually complained after it taking 30 minutes to Get our food, having empty glasses and having to send the steak back for not being cooked. The manager was great and have is free dessert.

Loved the bar and attention as well as the delicious small bites. Very attentive to six of us celebrating birthdays in September. The waitress ensured our dinners were exactly as ordered.

This is a storefront restaurant in the heart of historic Beaufort and a short two blocks from the Beaufort Inn where we were staying. It has a Victorian fascade but the interior is stripped down for a much more modern vibe. It was a bit noisy the night we were there because they had live entertainment in the bar. Since... More

Breakwater is a sure thing. The food is always good. The service is always good. The atmosphere is lively and easy. Terry and Amber make sure you are taken care of, and Beth creates food that never disappoints. If Donna and Gary are there, it is even better because they always come around to say hey and make sure things... More

Found this restaurant on trip advisor. Recently had a business dinner here. I had the seasonal salad and salmon entree. Both were very good. my associate had tomato soup and fried chicken. He said it was very good as well. Service was excellent and ambience was nice. Would highly recommend. The only negative was it was not on the water.... More

A large square plate of delicious appetizers.such as spicy calamari, butter bean hummus, shrimp and tuna ...and that was just the start. My husband had braised short ribs and I had the seasonal swordfish. Both were absolutely great. I had to ask for a spoon to get the very last morsel! My husband also said the Long Island Iced tea... Decor with style and food with taste. Friendly, efficient service plus a menu of variety. Add to that delightfully prepared and presented meals. The wine list is average and the noise level above the norm. You can't go wrong. Best place around for miles and miles.
