Mediocre food. Hamburger doesn't compare to Luther's. Wife's lunch ok. Wouldn't recommend. more

Dropped by about 4:15 and took a seat on the porch overlooking the park. Found the men's room to be grubby. The table on the rail of the porch where we sat was so out of level I had to keep it pressed down over an inch to settle the table. Waitress handed us a dirty tattered menu for lunch,... more

I agree with several of the other posters who rave about the lunches at Plums. It's probably my favorite lunch spot in downtown Beaufort along Bay Street. There's nothing like sitting out on the back porch on a warm day overlooking the waterfront park and all. I typically take visitors here for lunch and occasionally my girlfriend and I will... more

this is percieved as a good local place with a view. lunch is preferable to dinner. lots of good sandwich choices in a comfortable downhome setting. but it can get crowded in season. a good small bar is a good place for one or two people. dinner is problematic. food choices are mundane and not particularly cost-effective ($15 for pasta).... more

Just returned from Plum's and I have to see I was very happy with my dining experience. One of the things I really liked is they had a number of interesting and unusual dishes on the menu. I chose to have the Linguine with a cream sauce with Grilled chicken. The unual twist on this was that it had black... more

On July 25, based on a recommendation from a friend, we had dinner at Plum's. We had a great table on the porch, with a wonderful view of the waterfront. Although the service was a bit slow, which was fine as we not in a hurry, the servers were very gracious and accomodating. The food was beautifully served and delicious.... more

Went there for lunch, place was packed. Took a long time to be privileged by waitress' presence. Place cleared out, but the service was still veeeerrrryyy sloooooooow. Food was okay, but a bit pricey for what we got. They do "have a good view of the waterfront", as we heard a shopkeeper say when a patron asked about a place... more

My friends who live in Beaufort tell me Plum's is doing great wine flights with special meals in the evenings. I haven't been so all I can rate is my lunches there. The food is fine but not remarkable, the service is spotty (slow to fill drinks, food takes quite a while to be served, never checked back with the... more

I went to Beaufort over the July 4th weekend so I am sure the town was more crowded than normal. The food was awesome I got the Pimeto cheese sandwich with a side salad and my sister got the turkey club with sweet potato fries. Every thing was so good that we halfed it all so I can say those... more

My wife and I attended the funeral of my aunt's husband in Beaufort, and we took my aunt and some other family members to Plum's, hoping to have a nice meal by the river. The atmosphere is quite casual, but the food turned out to be marvelous, most notably the seafood. The various appetizers we had were wonderful, including vietnamese... more
