We've enjoyed Plums when we make the trip to Beaufort for years, especially when we dined on the back porch... and now it's even better since they've added a nicely shaded outdoor dining patio overlooking the park the river. Excellent food selection and quality for a moderate price, and very good service. The funky interior is just fine for cool... More

This restaurant is located on Bay Street in Beaufort, the restaurant at the back has a covered seating area looking out to the water and the park. This is the best area to sit in as everybody heads to the back. The food was good I had a sirloin steak which was good, most of the menu is seafood or... More

Grabbed a quick bite at Plums on the porch with our dachshund. I can personally vouch for the fried okra and Lowcountry Boil - both really good. Great views from the porch and we met some really nice people walking along the Waterfront which is just out the back of the restaurant. Definitely worth a try if you're in Beaufort.

Our 1st stop from Charleston to Savannah did not disappoint..Lunch was delicious and plentiful, service was a little slow but they were also packed with a waiting list so that can be over looked as long as we had our drinks/water/beer...the Potato salad was the best I have had in a long time and the fresh tomatoes were simply divine!

we had a couple of hours to kill on our bus tour and we stopped there before heading to Savannah. Beaufort is a very cool town, and the main street has plenty of places to eat. We chose this as it had a sign for jambalaya. that soup was really good, and the other dishes not so much. We odered... More

Nothing to rave about. We had hopes to eat outside but it started to rain as soon as we arrived. The table of screaming children didn't help the atmosphere. The meal was average. Somewhat southern but nothing too spectacular.

We had a very nice meal at Plums. Although I have to eat Gluten Free for health reasons, they were very accommodating to my diet. The outdoor seating is beautiful and the service was great. We ate there twice during our stay in June. The staff was very nice and the food was delish! I did recommend Plums to our... More

Popped in for a couple of drinks and we had friendly, fast service. We did sit at the bar, but everyone that was in the place was nice to us and seemed happy with their server. Price was right, too!

Used to be one of my favorites. I been going there for 5 years and see the slow demise. The water closests were filthy and reeked. Lots of staff standing around. Not friendly or clean enough. Needs direction. Could be great because of location. Darn shame.

Today I tried to place a to go order and it was probably the worst experience I have had in Plums thus far. The girl who answered the phone put the phone down, so I was able to hear everything she said while I was "on hold". She immediately started whining about having to take a to go order, then... More
