We ate breakfast there once in our stay. Our party had pancakes, corned beef hash, and Tex Mex omelet. The pancakes were reportedly good, the hash was dry even topped with poached eggs. The Tex Mex omelet was acceptable- sauteed peppers and onions topped with very scanty grated cheese mix and salsa. I saw bowls of shrimp and grits going... more

Ate breakfast twice there recently while on vacation. EXCELLENT service by AMY. This young lady has a very good disposition, and isn't annoying about checking the table, yet keeps good tabs on your needs. Kudos for her bigtime!!! I had the Corned beef and eggs breakfast both times, and would order again in a heartbeat. This ain't canned corned beef!... more

I often go to Blackstones for breakfast or lunch. The omlettes are very good. In fact, everything I have tried from French toast to pancakes to lunch sandwiches has been very good. The service is a bit slow but largely because the place is very busy. It is worth a stop. more

During a recent trip to Beaufort my wife and I found our way here for lunch. The location is great as it is just a block of Bay Street. The lunch menu has a simple list of standard lunch fare. However both meals were excellent. I recommend the Hot Reuben. Interesting collection of movie posters hanging over the door. All... more

We travel to Beaufort often and no trip is complete without Shrimp and Grits from Blackstone's. Best I've had anywhere. more

My wife and I ate here during a recent trip to Beaufort for my son's graduation from Parris Island. I had a shrimp/cheese omlet and my wife had eggs and grits. Our food was very good and the wait staff was excellent. The price for two with my wife drinking water and me, iced tea was $23.48. more
