Dockside in Port Royal is one of the most consistent restaurants in Beaufort, Always amazing food Me and the family attend dinner 4-5 times a year and we all say every time we eat it taste just as good if not better then before. I have never received poor service or food recommend it to anyone hungry for seafood.

Went to the Port Royal location and loved the food and service. Shrimp&Grits were good, my wife had crab cakes and they were better than my Shrimp&Grits. Loved the family with the kids that ran around the restaurant the whole time with no table manners whatsoever. But you can get that wherever you go. If we could just kick those... More

This review is of the Dockside located at 71 Sea Island Parkway on Lady's Island: We were told by locals that this is the best seafood in the Beaufort area. From the table we set at the view of the marsh was great. Have eaten here twice now ... very good seafood but save room for the Key Lime Pie... More

Went back to the Dockside on Lady's Island Beaufort. This is smaller than the original in Port Royal but every bit as good. It is a testament to their management and processes that the folks at Dockside can open a sister restaurant within 10 miles of the original and offer the same quality of food and service. Still one of... More

Their crab stuffed white fish, with shrimp and scallops skewered on top was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Come early and be prepared to wait for a table. This is a local favorite. Great views of the marsh.

Spent 3 days in Beaufort and ate here twice! Both times we got there early to avoid the crowds. We sat on the deck and loved watching the activity on the water. I had the Frogmore Stew both times and my husband had the fried oysters. Both were very good and the cornbread is to die for! The waitresses were... More

We went to Dockside on Labor Day and got there for early dinner as soon as the opened to avoid a crowd - several others had the same idea, so they were slightly busy but well staffed. Luckily we got a table by the window with a view of the marsh, shrimp boats and docks. Outside deck dining was also... More

We had dinner at the Lady's Island location. Could not have asked for better service or better seafood. We had scallops and shrimp - shared entrees - and were not disappointed. Sat outside under an umbrella and had a very pretty sunset. Food was excellent as was our server. We will definitely go back. Prices reasonable. They start you off... More

Very cool restaurant off the beaten path. Port Royal (Beaufort)11th street. Commercial shrimp boats at dock. Crabs, shrimp are excellent. Down to earth, no frills. Good service. Local flavor.

this restaurant is a very busy place. They don't take reservations, but a call ahead for parties of 8+. A very big menu to choose from and the fish is dynamite. Homemade hushpuppies and cornbread to die for. You like fish?, better not miss this restaurant located just across the bridge
