This charming eatery and mini-grocery in the heart of downtown Beaufort is housed in what used to be first its post office and later its city hall. Just sitting in the building is interesting -- but go for the food, not the architecture! It's very very good! We love the hearty breakfasts with fresh from the farm eggs and produce,... More

Breakfast at Low Country Produce is a perfect start to the day. The décor is serene and sunny and service is wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed their scotch eggs with Colonial chutney and side of fruit. If I still lived in Beaufort, I could see myself frequenting Low Country Produce for their selection preserves, chutneys, fresh produce and take out meals.

If you would like to experience some food of the lowcountry, don't miss Lowcounty Produce. We started going to their farm store on Hwy 21, but when they moved downtown, this became one of our favorite lunch spots!

loved the decor, style, offerings of this spiffy old post office! The green and white decor is tranquil, but still has a dynamic vibe. Waitstaff and management were delightful. Food, spot on, generous and delicious.

The Lowcountry Produce Market prepares food with an attention to the details that whet the palate. Everything is fresh and locally produced; delicate eggs cooked to perfection, country sausage with spices that mellowed into the country buttered grits. Don't miss the cheddar, crusted, homemade biscuits; topped cachets of real butter and homemade marmalade jam. The seating is tastefully surrounded by... More

I have eaten breakfast here several times, the food is very good and their coffee is excellent. Get the "Bowl" or if you are in the mood for sweets try the donut plate.

We usually visit LCP when guests come to town and they always remark on what a great place it is and how god the food is. There is, at times, entertainment on weekend nights.

Low Country Produce is a great sandwich place. Reasonably priced, fast service, and good food. My husband and I went in on a late Saturday, after the lunch rush. No frills, just good food.

Visiting Lowcountry for lunch while on a business retreat in beaufort and had a wonderful experience. Great customer service, beautiful, unique interior and stunning natural light pouring in the large windows. A definite "yes!" when in Beaufort!
