Service was great, food was superb, and the donuts are simply wonderful. The interior of this little restaurant is very eye catching as they have remodeled an old government building into a bright cheery place to have a great breakfast. Large windows keep it bright and the service provided was just awesome. We started our breakfast with donut appetizer. Sounds... More

Stopped here for lunch on our entrance to Beaufort hoping for decent seafood. The only seafood items were an oyster po' boy and a shrimp po' boy. If you call your sandwich a po'boy, you should expect to be compared to New Orleans po'boys, but no one at this restaurant seems to have been to New Orleans. The bread was... More

Stopped by for lunch when we arrived in Beaufort. It was very busy when we first arrived, they could do with re working the seating arrangements to fit in more diners, but as we were a little late for lunch it cleared out while we were there. We loved the venue, great use of an old building and the concept... More

This place came recommended so we had high hopes. It is a cute little restaurant in Beaufort, but the service sure was lacking. I am not sure if we just caught them at an off time or what was going on. Everything was a hassle to get a refill on tea, to getting a straw, to getting our check etc...... More

I don't say this lightly, but this was the best egg salad sandwich I've EVER had! Adorable place, local produce, plus mini-cupcakes for dessert? Yes please!

This cafe / market is just of Bay Street on Carteret Street. We ate here at lunch time. The food was very good , this place is used mainly by locals, always a good sign. The portions were an ideal size for lunch. (Not to big) they make a lot of the food that they sell at a nearby farm.... More

Visited the store while on vacation in Beaufort. Picked up some artichoke pickles. They are my favorite and they are perfect. Artichoke pickles are very difficult to find locally so I'm very glad I found ya'll. Thanks.

We really enjoyed eating lunch with our friends at this special place. We not only walked in when it was pouring rain but we were greeted with smiles and happiness. When thunder roared in the town lost all electricity but we were treated like kings and queens. We had the most delicious organic tomato soup which was out of this... More

Must have been an off night for the chef. Spinach risotto with crabmeat seemed like a nice idea but lacked flavor and was just great ingredients mushed together. Same for the Shrimp and Grits. Shrimp lacked flavor and grits were consistency of pablum. Sorry LCP. Server was very nice, however this could not make up for $85.00 for 1 appetizer,... More

Lynne and I have dined at the Lowcountry Produce and Market many times - we really like it. Most of our visits have been for Breakfast or Lunch which they do extremely well. Tonight we went for dinner - It was fantastic!! We both started with the 'Oyster Pan Roast". I am an oyster eater from way back - and... More
