Re-use

Beaufort has made great efforts to restore and reuse facilities. The shop is well staffed and eager to serve and please their customers.

We were in Beaufort for a week and ate lunch here twice we liked it so well. The 1st time we had the soup of the day (a wonderfully delicious house-made lamb & bean soup) with half sandwich and an "Ooey Gooey" sandwich (house-made pimento cheese with bacon-yum!). 2nd time we had a BLT that had oodles of crisp bacon... This is an interesting place to check out while in Beaufort. One in our party had been there before and had tomato pie for dinner and loved it. It was not on the lunch menu so they could not order it this time. It looks like they may have seating upstairs and possibly music in the evening. It is a... More

We had lunch on a busy Saturday at the Dale location. Their burgers are grand! Moist, delicious and the kind of burger you need 4 napkins to eat! The servers were gracious and friendly. We did buy some Peach Salsa that was very disappointing. It was very bland with not much of a peach esssence... just tasted like tomatoes that... More

This restaurant was recommended by local Beaufort shop staff. I wish I had taken their other recommendation of the Wren Bistro. I arrived at Low Country Produce at 12:30 pm. Waited, looked around for a hostess for seating instructions, waited some more to be directed to seat myself anywhere (most tables were dirty), waited quite a bit longer for a... More

Fresh foods, southern style, with unique pickles and sides. I was feeling unwell and our server was terribly good with us.

This is a place that you must experience. Its a market and restaurant combined. It's really a very laid back cafe atmosphere. We enjoyed prompt professional service and fantastic food. I had the carteret chicken sandwich (grilled chicken breast on a toasted bun with monterey jack cheese and some other goodies that I forgot) with home made style chips that... More

They were out of a couple menu items when we were there, so we had to go with a second choice. The egg salad was good, chicken salad average, pimento cheese not what I expected. You could order mild or jalapeño. I chose mild. First bite, I thought they had made a mistake and given me the spicy one. When... More

If you are in need of some good take out call Lowcountry Produce. We always loose the menu and they are so patient with us as we order over the phone with them. I normally always get a burger from them. I like that they use really nice boxes for take out and not some cheap bag. Every time we've... More

My wife had a steak salad that was quite good, but a little short on greens. I had a very good burger with blue cheese and all the trimmings. The house made potato chips are good.
