This was an excellent meal with wonderful friends. Highly recommend this restaurant. Menu changes frequently. We will be back next time we are in the area.

I have few reservations about recommending the food at this small upscale restaurant. Most dishes I have enjoyed were flavorful and authentic. My only issue is why they seem to do everything they can to prevent being a successful business. Where do I begin? Is it an affectation to eschew a sign on the building or over the door? An... More

We went Sunday, the fixed menu is excellent and the prices are wonderful. You can't beat the Authentic Italian food that you receive here. The atmosphere is pronominal. The service was great! The employees at this restaurant really care about your dinning experience. I would defiantly give this restaurant a visit while in Beaufort, SC.

This unassuming northern Italian restaurant offers an extensive and thoughtful wine list and simply prepared and delicious Tuscan cooking. Small menu, but all great choices from starters to dessert. Highly recommended.

We had high expectations based on various reviews, and they were absolutely met. We were greeted when we walked in, the service was prompt, the menu offered a nice variety of choices, and the food was fantastic. Afterwards I enjoyed exploring the small kitchen garden outside. I don't live in Beaufort but I will revisit here when I come back... More

The best Italian Restaurant outside of Italy. It is small, like most restaurants in Italy and you really need reservations. The size and the wonderful chef, Laura, are what gives it the edge. Everything is fresh and the herbs come from the garden outside. The largest and best wine list ever and Ricardo is well versed and a true expert... More

If you love great Italian food like you get in Italy, go to Griffin. My wife and I have been to Italy many times and we believe Griffin is as good as any meal we have had in Italy. The restaurant is not fancy, just like most great restaurant in Italy. But Ricardo and his staff are very friendly and... More

Our party of ten was disappointed because we could not be seated together in this small restaurant. However we quickly forgot that we were not received with true Southern hospitality when we began to sample the food and wine offered by Griffin Market. These Italian folks did not disappoint when they served beautifully plated food prepared by a lovely chef... More

We loved it ,BUT, we love dining out of the ordinary. Food was delicious, well prepared and beautfully presented. The owner worked the floor and clearly made you feel welcome and appreciated. The menu changes daily to accomadate fresh ingredients. One of our friends dining with us, is a recognized wine expert and was literally wowed by the Italian wine. We... More

After finally finding the place (NO SIGN). We found a note on the front door stating that only those with confirmed reservations would be allowed in that evening. As we had one we went in only to find no other customers. Our party of four was seated and we began looking over the two-page menu. One page of food items... More
