Our lucky and night! They were offering a 3 course special for $25! The meals were great! Blackberry Glazed Salmon and Shrimp with Sundried Tomatoes over Fettuccini. Desserts a total of 3 were included!

How can a chef overcook a filet mignon? Anathema! Two of four filet mignons overcooked ,no color except dark tough meat. Knives were requested to be able to cut meat. Husband not wanting to make a scene exchanged his brides meat with his as she could not chew meat with ease. Spoke with chef who pretended to be concerned and... More

One of the best, if not the best fish dinners. Started out with the popover, light, airy, and warm, which were as big as the bread plate. I had the crispy scoured flounder, which was served whole and cooked to perfection. My husband had the crab stuffed grouper, which was also very tasty. We would return to Beaufort just to... More

We've been there a few times before. Went on a Thursday night and the place was not busy. The service was outstanding. The she crab soup was good, but not the best we've ever had--but still quite tasty. Our entrees were perfectly prepared and very good. The dessert (a small chocolate brûlée, a small piece of strawberry cake and a... More

Spouse and I escaped for a relaxing night. The Beaufort Inn room was wonderful. Ate at the restaurant, Southern Graces, because of proximity and menu looked good! First of all was not aware of BYOB! Secondly, reserved table in the library and when we arrived were told that the other group had booked first (though my husband had spoken to... More

We were passing through the Beaufort area and booked a table at Southern Graces Bistro in order to have a taste of the Southern cuisine (when in Rome...), and we were really glad to have done so, as it ended up being one of our best restaurant experiences in the United States. Beaufort is a beautiful, quiet (in February, that... More

The most important thing to remember is to bring your own wine as the restaurant is not licensed. There is no corkage charge. the setting is very nice with attentive staff. The prix fix menu on Valentines day was very good and reasonably priced.

Love, love, love Southern Graces. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is historically quaint. LOVE the popovers for lunch. Yum! A treat to watch a new customer receive. The salads are perfect, love the sweet potato grits, and priced affordably. No complaints - just kudos!
