The quality of both the food and service were first rate. We stayed at the Beaufort inn where the Southern Graces is located but this restaurant is so good I recommend it even to people staying in other hotels. Every course of our meal was superb -- appetizers, salad, main course and dessert. For the quality of the food and... More

Ate here while staying at the Beaufort Inn. The menu choices were terrific and we had a hard time deciding. My wife had the citrus salad. It was a refreshing mix of lettuce and fruits with a very flavorful dressing. She had the stuffed grouper and loved it. I had the she crab soup which was very good. Rich and... More

Southern Graces used to be Tripadvisors #1 Restaurant in Beaufort now it is #16 the main problem is lack of consistency. Saturday night prime time and only two couples in the restaurant! Nice upscale decor where you can bring you own wine and sit and not have somebody next to you in jeans and a baseball cap. I'm not sure... More

Wanted someplace special for an anniversary, and this was perfect. Small and friendly with real southern charm. It was a Tuesday and we were the only dinners - not unusual as it is located in a small hotel that is more populated on weekends and during Paris Island graduations. Began with wonderful popovers and complimentary wine. I ordered the fried... More

Rain forced us to stay indoors that night at the Beaufort Inn so we got a chance to have dinner at Southern Graces. We had already experienced breakfast here. Dinner was even better! They don't have a wine license but we were able to bring our own. Dinner was delicious. Four different pallets, four different choices. No complaints from anyone.... More

The atmosphere is what I would picture being in a dining room of Titanic is like. It's beautiful wood, marble fireplaces, silver and gold wallpaper and etched glass encase 2 medium to small dining areas. The menu has something for everyone. Be aware that they are a BYOB restaurant and will gladly cork any wine you bring but they do... More

Our party of 4 visited on a Thursday night and were literally the only people in the restaurant. The server/bartender was friendly and excellent throughout our meal, and that's the highlight. He brought out some popovers with strawberry butter which were nice, but the food quickly went downhill from there. Soups and salads were average. Salmon and pecan crusted chicken... More

I have been a chef for over 23 years. My son was graduating from Parris Island boot camp. We looked up Restaurants on the internet and Southern Graces came up. We gave it a try. Let me tell you, this was one of the best meals I have ever had! And I am a Chef!! From the oysters as appetizer... More

Our family had lunch here after looking at their menu in the Visitor's center. We were not disappointed. We ordered the Southern Burger, Vertical Cobb Salad with grilled chicken, Fish Taco's with Mahi-Mahi, and Southern Quiche Lorraine. The presentation was excellent and the dishes were tasty and generous. Prior to our lunches being delivered we were brought warm popovers with... More

We had an absolutely fantastic dinner and experience start to finish. We were greeted warmly and professionally by Angie and the service could not have made us feel more comfortable. The chef/owner took the time to stop by our table and was equally charming and gracious. Most importantly, we each had three courses (including a salad) and dessert and there... More
