The New Year's Eve dinner consisted of 12 oz. rib-eye steak, baked potato, corn, salad, minestrone soup, fruit platter, and raspberry and cheese danishes. Ordered mine medium rare and it was grilled to perfection. That was the only menu selection and all were well sated and satisfied and could eat no more. The Fillin' Station has a very limited menu... Okay. So this place looks like a dive, and it is. But you gotta go for Friday steak night! My steak had great flavor and was served with sides. The bartenders do not skimp on their drinks, and you can stick around for karaoke.

From the street, it looks like one should avoid this place. Once inside you'll notice the gorgeous marsh views; sparse seating inside, but a great protected deck out back for dining or happy-hour, with a vista to die for. Food is very good and very reasonably priced. A hidden gem known primarily to friendly locals.

After making 3 visits to this ugly, run down, hole in the road and I can only say, Try it. I truly don't know how Mark & Rita pull it off but the food is exceptional. The prices are simply crazy. I have done Thursday night Pork Chops twice, Friday night steak once. I still need to do Wednesday's Cheese... More

From the outside it looks a bit like a biker bar, which in part it is. Inside it is bar with pool table and is dive-like. But journey out the back door and you are treated to a recently renovated good sized deck with an all weather roof. And then look out across Factory Creek and the acres and acres... More

We went here for dinner on a Wednesday night and weren't disappointed! Deck has beautiful views of salt marshes. Dinner was a cheeseburger and hot dog and potato salad and baked beans....all for $4. Can't beat it!!

food was great and home cooked. The cook was a very nice hostess and her husband was a retired marine and the bartender and owner.

We live about 45min away (Hilton Head) and love going The Fillin' Station. It's a beautiful motorcycle ride and the view from their outdoor patio is surreal. We've never had the pleasure of eating there yet but heard great things. This is a great Pub, call it a dive bar if you will and I mean that in a good... More
