Good as always!

We came for a date night and enjoyed it as always. Our server was unobtrusive but polite. Our food was delicious (esp the cheese platter) and the lemon cheesecake with blueberries was a nice way to finish the meal. I appreciated that the hostess gave us our favorite table in the back corner. Will... read more

If you're visiting the Beaufort area and are reading reviews to decide where to dine, skip the drive to this establishment. We went based on the good reviews. Since it was Tuesday, it was burger and music night. First thing we were asked when we arrived is if we had reservations. Hmmm, it's Tuesday night, didn't realize that would be... More

Well, the place just isn't the same. Noise level is almost intolerable. Menu not that attractive. Specials limited, but the ribeye was wonderful. Appears they want it to be a bar. Too bad. We used to like the place. Was a favorite. We don't plan to go back.

My husband and I had dinner last night at Maggie's and had a wonderful meal. We kept it simple. My husband ordered the burger and I had the flounder fish and chips. The burger was cooked properly, medium rare, and was juicy and flavorful. The flounder was excellent but I was a bit disappointed with the small portion. The sides... More

Terrific little setting in the habrrsham village. High marks for serving up a great burger. Charming little place with a small bar good atmosphere. Staff was terrific. We only sampled the burger but meals coming out looked good. We will be back.

Maggie's Pub and Eatery in Habersham is a great place for food and music. Every Wednesday Night, at 8 P.M., The Reconstruction Band thoroughly entertains the patrons, while they are dining. The show stopping foot stomping music concludes at 11. This Wednesday Night three of us partook of their burger specials and a pasta special. All of our entrees, sides,... More

So we started out well, having dinner w/ wonderful friends - but the food added to the positive experience. Maggies is under new ownership but the menu is essentially the same - thankfully the Mibek farms burger and fish and chips are still on the menu. i decided to try the special, as did another of our party: duck confit,... It’s been about a month since the re-opening of Maggie’s after the departure of celebrated chef Richard Wilson. Some may have been apprehensive, but not me. I noted a couple of years ago that when Marly Wreden came as sous chef the kitchen’s output noticeably improved. Now she’s the head chef and things are ticking over nicely. The menu remains... More

I'm so glad I finally had Maggie's Pub and Eatery! The atmosphere and food exceeded my high expectations. I sat at the bar and was treated as though I was family. The garlic fries were so good I ate them with two hands and I simply can not remember the last time I had a better steak! Definitely worth checking... More

There are new owners--the former sous chef and her husband. We all had wonderful meals and service. It seemed a little less crowded than normal on a Saturday night, but that might be Richard's and Peggy's regulars getting used to new owners. Food and service are still good and that's the important thing. As long as that continues, we'll go... More
