We are partial to locally owned and operated restaurants; this one has owners that enjoy what they are doing and pleasing patrons. The location is outstanding and the inside is very much like an European pub, We were promptly served cocktails followed by an appetizer (free) served by the chef/owner. I asked him for a history lesson (his experience and... More

We really like this spot. It's a little out of our way, but worth the trip. The chef has his regular menu but always has something special. We have never had a meal that was not wonderful. The place is small so we suggest that you reserve ahead on busy nights. You will love it.

Maggies is such hidden treasure. There is truly something for everyone and the menu is full of fresh local ingredients. I am particularly fond of the homemade soups that are featured and the made from scratch cakes are just delicious. Consistently delicious meals in a comfortable, fun environment.

This little gem in the magical Habersham community delivers a wonderful dining experience. The menu is diverse with something for everyone. Wine list was reasonably priced with a nice selection. Four of us dinned there selecting four different entrees. We were completely satisfied that each of us had selected the best choice on the menu insisting everyone taste each other's... More

We enjoyed our delicious very well prepared tasty meals this evening. Presentation and serving sizes were good. We each chose a different main course and all 4 of us were pleased with our delicious selection. We shared a slice of coconut and lemon cake. The lemon was more flavorful and satisfying getting our vote for our favorite.

Very nice atmosphere! This year's visit had live evening music while we had dinner. Even without the music, it's a nice, friendly spot to meet locals of the area. The chef is amazing. My mother is friends with him and his wife (who is the hostess/manager). Menu always changes for seasonal, local produce. Always sustainable food is chosen for preparation.... More

After our annual visit to Habersham, we found ourselves allured by the chalkboard signs at Maggie's Pub advertising live music on a Wednesday night. We were too early but enjoyed a hardcrafted cocktail and split the fish special, grilled halibut. It was excellent! The vibe is cozy and has an art museum-like twist. Prices were reasonable and the staff uber... More

My wife and I ventured from Hilton Head to try the food at Maggie's and check out the scene in Habersham, the idyllic little town inside Beaufort. The town is straight out of a movie set with a quaint Main Street. We tried a couple of appetizers at Maggie's and especially loved the crab cake with corn shoots which tasted... More

This is a quaint little place located in a charming little town center. The menu is small but interesting, and the food is good. My dining partners and I enjoyed appetizers of teryaki shrimp and pineapple, and zucchini risotto, followed by entrees of veal oscar with sauteed kale, and halibut. The carrot cake dessert was out of this world. Give... More
