Very nice atmosphere! This year's visit had live evening music while we had dinner. Even without the music, it's a nice, friendly spot to meet locals of the area. The chef is amazing. My mother is friends with him and his wife (who is the hostess/manager). Menu always changes for seasonal, local produce. Always sustainable food is chosen for preparation.... More

After our annual visit to Habersham, we found ourselves allured by the chalkboard signs at Maggie's Pub advertising live music on a Wednesday night. We were too early but enjoyed a hardcrafted cocktail and split the fish special, grilled halibut. It was excellent! The vibe is cozy and has an art museum-like twist. Prices were reasonable and the staff uber... More

My wife and I ventured from Hilton Head to try the food at Maggie's and check out the scene in Habersham, the idyllic little town inside Beaufort. The town is straight out of a movie set with a quaint Main Street. We tried a couple of appetizers at Maggie's and especially loved the crab cake with corn shoots which tasted... More

Don't fall for all the propaganda about Habersham. If you like the constant sound of leaf blowers, lawn mowers, fighter Jets over your house, seedy events that invite in undesirable elements, outsiders using amenities that YOU are paying for and they are not, renters you can't afford to buy here and don't care or follow the HOA rules...and local criminal... This is a quaint little place located in a charming little town center. The menu is small but interesting, and the food is good. My dining partners and I enjoyed appetizers of teryaki shrimp and pineapple, and zucchini risotto, followed by entrees of veal oscar with sauteed kale, and halibut. The carrot cake dessert was out of this world. Give... More

Maggie's is a great little spot for a reliably good meal. Located in Habersham, it is a neighborhood gathering place, where "everybody knows your name." Chef Richard Wilson always has an interesting menu going, with daily specials that feature fresh, local produce. This became our "once-a-week habit" for consistently good food at a reasonable price.

I’m not quite sure why it’s called Maggie’s Pub since it isn’t anything like any pub I’ve ever been in. The menu is pretentious and the delivery doesn’t match up to either the overblown descriptions or prices. Noisy and clubby is my best description of Maggies and certainly not worth the drive if you don’t live in Habbersham Estates. There... More

Although we moved to the Beaufort area about a year ago, this was our first visit to Maggie's. Not your typical pub, a bit more upscale. Habersham was a neat place to see, certainly off the beaten path. We had reservations but had to wait for a few minutes at the bar. The staff was friendly and did a great... More
