Went there for my anniversary and it was all I thought it would be. The chef knew it was out anniversary and specialized our orders to fit what we wanted. We waited 15 minutes to be seated, 15 more minutes to be waited on, 45 more minutes to receive our "food". My wife got cold, bland, supposedly fresh ? butternut squash soup and I got a cold hot dog that resembled a creamated slim jim. Needless to say, we sent the food back and left in search of hot food.

We've been to Maggie's several times. The food has always been consistently good and still is. Service is also very good. The place is nice. But.....the music is just too loud for our taste. It has really put us off about Maggie's. Too bad.

Full disclosure, I live in Habersham, only a 10-minute walk to Maggie's. That said, it's a great place for Habersham locals, Beaufort locals, and out of towners. Friendly atmosphere; even if you don't know other diners, you will before long. Delicious burgers and fish & chips, but much more adventurous food if you're willing. Likewise, good choice of draft beers... More

Visiting a restaurant in the middle of a Festival is quite a hit-or-miss situation and one should not get their expectations up too high. You can expect vast crowds (and there were), poor service (and there was) and even low quality food (correct). My wife and I experienced all three at this restaurant during the Habersham Festival. We had about... More

Stumbled upon Maggie's on a Friday. The place was packed. The cocktails were delicious. The locally sourced food was prepared better than I've had in quite some time! Each plate was full of fun details that caught our eye. The actual home made fettuccine that's served with the Snapper really proves that this place cares about quality. The jazz band... More

This place is a hidden gem. First of all the location in The Habersham Marketplace is wonderful. I loved the feel of the restaurant. The menu is not extensive, but everything on it was enticing and very reasonably priced. Our service was excellent and the food was very good. This restaurant seemed to be a gathering spot for locals and... More

Based on a referral from friends, my wife and I decided to check this place out. First of all, Habersham is a wonderful find and a must visit. Anyway, Maggie's is a quaint little Pub on Market Street in the shopping district. We enjoyed a couple of "small plates" and a glass of wine. I had the fish and chips... More
