If you're staying in Beaufort, City Java is the place to go for coffee or a snack. Nice variety. Seems to cater to health conscious, but an awesome selection of fresh, hot baked goods.

I go to City Java all the time. It's a quality coffee-shop that has a very modern feel: almost like a city-feel in the lowcountry. Their iced coffee uses frozen coffee cubes versus regular ice: so your drink doesn't get watered down. I loved this concept. I always recommend City Java to individuals asking, and often take my clients there... More

Small space but big on character. Frozen coffee drinks hit the spot on our hot-day visit. Price was right, too!

We were in town on a girlcation. We'd spotted quite a few folks getting beverages here so decided this would be our after breakfast treat. There is metered parking directly in front of the establishment. Super convenient to park, grab a beverage and stroll the waterfront and downtown area. The establishment is small and clean. The waitstaff helpful. And the... More

This was a great coffee shop! We stopped in the day we were leaving town (6/8/14) and the staff was so friendly. They make their muffins in house and the smoothie I had was great. My husband said that his iced coffee was also delicious.

I like this place and went here every day of my stay for cappuccino. There are some hand made breakfast sandwiches, some yogurt and berries and a delightful orange muffin among other choices. There is inside and outside seating. After your refreshment, take a walk in the neighborhood behind the cafe. You will not be disappointed.

and I will continue to buy here even when their out of town competitor opens up soon. They have nice coffees, snack and even have a small meeting room for free for 6-8 people planning meetings, etc while having a latte. Nice folks, nice coffee.

Coffee is average at best. Walk down to Bay Street and enjoy World-Class coffee (La Colombe) at Common Ground. That place has upped the ante on coffee in this town...
