We had a coffee/tea and it was ok. The staff very pleasant. I wish it were cleaner, but it's busy, so hard to keep it from getting a little sticky, I supppose.

That was the title of my morning drink. I could be easily addicted. It was WONDERFUL! My huband got his usual black coffee. He said it was good. The scones and cinnamon bun were yummy too.

I don't drink frou frou coffee drinks just straight espresso or coffee with a shot added and theirs was very smooth a mile or five above starburnt. We had sandwiches that were ok. The pastries didn't look too bad and I d go back again for the espresso. I didn't think the coffee in the vacuum pots was as hot... More

If you just want a cup of real coffee the choices are limited but good. If you want lattes, ices, et al one has a lot of choices. The wait staff was not unfriendly but a little standoffish, unless you were a friend or in the same age group. Prices were reasonable and 'snack' choices were good.

$17 for 2 lattes, 2 muffins & a yogurt parfait. Threw out the muffins. Dry as dust, but very dense. No foam on the lattes. None! 1/3 espresso, 1/3 steamed milk, 1/3 texturized foam. That's the recipe. If you can't do it, just serve drip. Yogurt parfait was $5.25 and was a gummy, slimy mess. You've gotta put a barrier... More

My latte was gone before I finished enjoying it. Please add a larger size. Great coffee taste and quick service.

Before we left Beaufort and our hotel, City Loft, we went to City Java & News which was located inside our hotel. We had a $5 coupon from our hotel so went to get a coffee. A medium cafe mocha with an extra shot of espresso came to just over $5 (total of 4 espresso shots in this drink). It... More

The place where the baristas dish out the goods is tiny, so you may have to wait a bit, but it's worth it to support an independent coffee house. The staff is very nice, coffee is great, and there are lots of pre-packaged sandwiches and great pastries. I returned several times. It's in a great location, plenty of parking. I'm... More

The coffee was great, the service was friendly even the homemade prepackaged sandwiches were quite tasty and fresh. I highly recommend the breakfast burrito! This was a really nice place for an afternoon pick me up or a great start to the morning.
