Description: Wren Bistro and Bar is a locally owned and operated restaurant and bar...
Wren Bistro and Bar is a locally owned and operated restaurant and bar that features an ever evolving menu for both lunch and dinner. The kitchen uses delicious locally caught seafood, great cuts of steak, juicy chicken, and tasty pasta dishes. The portions are enormous (the 18 oz ribeye, and the 12-14 oz burgers for example!) and are easily big enough to share. We compliment the lunch and dinner menus with a staff of professional servers and bartenders who are very knowledgeable, always courteous, and very entertaining. The décor is elegant, yet modern and hip. So, if you and yours are looking for a great experience, and even better food, come check us out anytime Monday through Saturday, between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. Reservations are not required, but always welcomed!

Trendy little place, good service, very good food

First time here for lunch. Too bad they do not have outdoor seating. It would have been a perfect day for that. Friendly service, interesting menu. The shellfish bisque is quite good, really. I had the fried green tomato, goat cheese, and bacon sandwich. Really, REALLY good. My wife had the... read more

We visited Wren on a Thursday Night, which is "Burger Night". $7 Angus beef 12-ounce burgers with a side of fries. Choose Cheap Cheese ($1 extra for cheddar, swiss and the like) or Fancy Cheese ($2 extra for Brie, Bleu, etc), and/or Sauteed Mushrooms for $1.50 extra. The burgers are served on a toasted bun with Bistro Fries (skinny little... More

Little pricey, $14 for a hamburger, but the food was great as was the service. Nice place to go if you want to impress out of town friends.

While vacationing at Isle of Palms, SC, we were invited to visit friends who vacation in Beaufort. They suggested we meet for lunch at this popular downtown Beaufort restaurant, which has favorable ratings from many TripAdvisor reviewers. We were not disappointed. Our waitress, Danner, was hospitable and helpful. My wife's Southern Tier sandwich, consisting of fried green tomato, goat cheese,... More

We were not impressed and the menu choices were similar to those at lunch I think from now... More

Husband and I had Valentines dinner here. There seems to be a trend in this area to have a row of closely placed tables along the wall next to the front door and hostess desk. This is the third restaurant where we've been seated at one of those tables even though we've made reservations a week or so in advance.... More

My husband and I chose the Wren from among several recommended Beaufort restaurants while on a daytrip from Charleston. It's a great choice. Minimalist interior and a good menu. We both had salads. My Cobb was a departure from tradition and very tasty. Smoked gouda rather than blue cheese, and several large boiled shrimp. The smokey sweet dressing complimented nicely.... More

My husband and I stopped at this restaurant on our way back to Charleston from Savannah. We both found the decor very pleasing and the atmosphere pleasant. The menu selections were varied and enticing. We both opted for the burger. It was cooked to the temperature we asked for and it was delicious. The fries were thin and crisp and... More
