We had dinner at the Bridge our last night vacationing in the area. The food was quite good. I had the whole belly clams, which were outstanding. Other people at the table had fish and chips and calamari. Both of which were good. We did the buck-a-shuck oysters, which were good as well. The service however, was somewhat slow. Also,... More

Wonderfully situated restaurant highlighting wholesome food in the most attractive outdoor venue in the town. Overlooking the river with protective umbrellas to shield against the sun, the Bridge was fun and inviting. I started things off with a $2 Narragansett on tap. You just can’t top that. We then both had a cup of the creamy clam chowder. Excellent! Had... More

It was a family reunion that brought us to Stonington, Connecticut, and as we fanned out for lunch-time choices, my wife and I elected to head EAST by a few miles to nearby Westerly, Rhode Island. But, where to eat? We're from Nashville and wanted to see some water and stumbled upon a place that was, well, NOT by the... More

Our cocktails were very weak!!!! Our waitress however was outstanding. Unfortunately, the food was lousy. Fish was dry and portions small. Never again.

First of all Paul is always my waiter and as far I'm concerned he is the best waiter in Bridge..we always request Paul as our waiter... And we always receive the best service there... He goes above and beyond.. Peasant view is gross!!!! And bridge has raw bar way better then pleasant view!

My family had come up to visit me and see the area. I wanted to take them for lunch at a place that had a nice outdoor setting, so the bridge came to mind. Unfortunately, that turned into a big mistake. The food was okay- which is why we paid the bill. However, the service was horrible. The waiter's name... More

We had eaten Sunday brunch at the Bridge about a year ago. Now, on a beautiful day, we decided it would be a good spot for lunch outdoors after running errands in Westerly. We were not disappointed. We chose a table in the shade along the river, which proved to be even a bit cool. Our server brought our menus... More

Patio seating for a late lunch at 4. Not that busy for a nice Saturday but odd time. A few beers from a good list of regional microbrews. Started with the clam fritters. Nice light batter, piping hot. Very good. Wife had the fish and chips. Very, very good. Batter light and very tasty. Good cole slaw and fries, too.... More

On a whim was driving by and the parking lot was pretty empty so stopped in. Patio seating is really worth trying. Menu is a little thin but ordered off the specials board (grilled salmon and sea bass) and both were very good.

When we pulled up to the restaurant we almost didn't go in as the parking lot was full - on a weeknight! We decided that if there was a wait, we'd leave. I guess the downstairs was full (maybe a party?) so we were seated upstairs where it was very pleasant. My husband ordered the gumbo which he said was... More
