We stopped here after a recommendation from Hauser Chocolatier. We were looking for local favorites to try while visiting. They make fresh all their pasta and pizza. Even their dressing was made in house. We chose to do half and half..buffalo chicken and margarita. Very different favors but both good. The kiddos had 1 slice of pepperoni. Huge pieces!! The... This place used to be really good. I notice there are different people working in the kitchen now. A change for the worse. Our appetizers were bland and tasted freezer burnt. I've had better chowder out of a can. Even the pasta wasnt the same . Very dissapointed the place went down hill and used to be one of my... More

My experience at this restaurant was excellent from beginning to end. A clean family style pizza shop atmosphere-perfect for a beach town. The pizza sampler was great to munch on while we decided on our entrees. The chower was the best I have ever had; loaded with clams and a smokey flavor that complimented the cream base perfectly. I had... More

Returned to Cassa Della Luce after not having been there in awhile and had a great meal! The clam chowder was the best I've had in New England, and the Arancini balls were fantastic. We had the bacon wedge salad and the Ceasar salad again and were pleased with the freshness and flavor. Our group tried the daily specials, a... More

Our third visit, expecting the same lovely pizza style as before, but not this time. Our pizza crust was way overdone, had to saw through it with knives, and far too much cheese dumped on top, was not asked for. Liked the Sausage and Rabe appetizer, friendly service, Italian beer.

Loved there food...but watching them cook in the kitchen as you walk in....makes you think twice. Saw no gloves on anyone. Think I'll just make dinner at home.

If you've not tried this superb restaurant yet, you're in for a real treat. The menu is simple yet the choices are diverse. We've had both lunch and dinner on four different occasions and have been very satisfied with the service, freshness and superior quality of every offering. Can't wait to eat there again and try other entrees. The restaurant... More
