Good family food

That's about all I can say. Some standards, fish and chips, shepards pie, they do well. Other dishes are not that good. The drink order and bread comes quick unfortunately the entry appears while you are still eating the salad. Wife and I are going out to dinner right now and CI is not in the... read more

During the 70's when I lived in Rhode Island Cowesett Inn was our Friday night restaurant. It was not as large as it is today thus causing the Friday night line for a seat out the door but we always waited. It was my pleasure to visit this restaurant last weekend on a trip through Rhode Island. My husband and... More

Surprised to find Cowesett Inn...a West Warwick restaurant....on their list. We hadn't been to Cowesett Inn in a few years.....!!! The menu sounded terrific.....lots of choices for entree and dessert....at $17.77 a person decided to give it a try. The offer exceeded our expectations. The four of us really loved our meals and huge portions. Three of us had the... More

It's been several years since we've been there. Used to be a very busy place. Not so much anymore. Interior is very dated and worn. Men's room is a disgrace with rust and broken partitions and general deteriorated appearance. The waitress was friendly and service OK but more of a "diner " approach to service than a quality restaurant. The... More

Stopped by for a quick, late dinner and was pleasantly surprised. Cowesett Inn used to be one of the best restaurants in the area but has declined dramatically over the past few years. Our meal was fine and the service was good. Perhaps there making a comeback. We'll try them again the next time we're in the area.

Forced to choose between a tender New York Strip or Twin Lobster... Was with a group for our family reunion. The good news is there was no wrong choice! Neither entree disappointed. We all left very happy (and satisfied!) I guess I have to come back to RI so I can try the other choice!

The food is good and you get plenty but it is dark and gloomy and I hated walking into the bar area to get to a booth.

From the outside (and even the inside for that matter) this place looks like a losing proposition. Shabby, dark, dated with a veneer of declining years. However, if you've come for the food, value and service this place is positively palatial. I've ordered all over the menu and the Inn does not disappoint. You can have a delicious, generous lunch... This restaurant use to be good.we were there for my father in laws funeral. After we left, we got a call from the police, saying they were pressing charges on us for stealing salt and pepper shakers. Of all days to harass a family that just lost a loved one.I will never step foot in there again.Dont waste your time... More

We stumbled upon the Cowesett Inn late on a weeknight after a long terrible day of travelling. Dining options were limited because we do not like chain restaurants. I have to be honest, upon arriving at the Cowessett Inn, we almost turned around and drove away because, frankly, the facility has no curb appeal. My husband went inside to check... More
