Great food Great service Casual Dropping one star for noise level only Expect to wait in line but worth it!
The location is great. We had to wait to be seated which was no big deal. Time it took to get order taken and appetizers was ridiculously slow. Clam chowder was outstanding. Entrees ordered were cheeseburger and petite filet. Both were overdone and the filet was the smallest piece of meat I've ever seen. It was very noisy in the... More
I'd like to say a big thank you to the woman working on 5/27/2015 who refused to allow a customer to come in 5 min before opening and utilize the facilities. For the record my mother was suffering from an extremely painful UTI and this woman working at the Tea Room was dismissive, rude and would not make an exception.... More
Have reviewed this restaurant before and given it great kudos. I feel compelled to re- review this restaurant since it is even better than before. The service is great, the menu wonderful and the whole dining experience is a "10"
I walked in to Olympia alone and sat at the bar. I was greeted by one of the best most knowledgeable bartenders I have ever come across while traveling. She not only allowed me to sample a few things I have never seen before, but gave me an education on them as well. After having a couple pints of a... More
We lucked out. Our favorite restaurant on the New England south coast, Olympia Tea Room had their soft opening this weekend. On the spur the moment we came down and discovered them open a little early this year. Every bite of food is delicious. The tea room service food it's just as delicious as grandma's home cooking.it's a little bit... More
For a decade or so, I'd always visit The Olympia several times in the season, to enjoy the unique environment and delicious dishes. No matter how many times I went, I was always treated like a stranger. So instead, I now prefer other places in the area where I'm always greeted warmly, as all customers should be. It's basic courtesy.
Our favorite place to have a drink and watch the sun set. Wonderful local warm feeling and the paintings are fabulous!!
Ill start with the best part of this place, the location. Too bad your only other option is the Ocean House. The pries are high and the food is only average-good. Tip: eat in downtown Westerly and go to Watch Hill for dessert.
The Olympia Tea Room is a great spot to have lunch or an afternoon cocktail with appetizers with beautiful views of Little Narragansett Bay. The food is good. The service is good and the prices are reasonable. Try to get an outside table and enjoy the sunset if possible.
