Food was tasty and inexpensive. The lobster roll was good and the calamari and fried scallops (although they were small). Would come back again but maybe take my food some place else.

We stopped by for lunch based on TripAdvisor reviews. It took a second to figure out the ordering system. You order outside at the order window, wait on the sidewalk for your meal, then walk in to the restaurant to find a table. We had scallops, clam strips, and chowder. All were excellent! The view to the park and beach... More

The Dough Boys were good and free (sign up for the email club and you get six free). Got the whole belly clam roll- clams were little and the lettuce was brown. Clear chowder not as good as Flo's. The fish from the fish and chips had no taste. But- dough boys were good.

So I heard alot about Iggy's and was excited to try it - after visiting Newport, RI, where I came across a little country shop that carried some of its restaurant items. Its a great location - right near the beach - down a street you'd never know existed. We finally found a place to park - as parking is... More

We went there because someone said you could sit on the patio with your dog, but when we got there, it didn't seem to be set up that way. We ordered at the outdoor window, then just left the car running with the a/c while we went inside and quickly ate. Clam cakes definitely not as good as Aunt Carrie's... More

We decided to go here on a whim on a beautiful Sunday in early August. We didn't realize how close it was to the beach until we looked at the map. We gave it a go anyway. It was worth it! As we walked up, we could see quite a line (actually two lines: one for ordering and one for... More

This place has hands down the best chwoder and clam cakes available anywhere. Everything else on the menu is good too. Is open year round and can get very crowded on a nice day.

This place is a must-visit adventure on your Rhode Island itinerary, but it's far more "star" than substance. I think you might call this place a New England "fast-food icon," as you order at a window, they shove your stuff into paper bags and Styrofoam boxes, and then you go find yourself a seat inside or over by the shore... We stopped by for a light lunch and had the New England Chowder. It was rich and creamy, with lots of clams. We found it comparable to what we had on Cape Cod. Will go back again to try more items.

The clamcakes had decent flavor, but really the key ingredient seems to be missing. I think I got a single clam bit in the three I ate during our visit. We shared a doughboy, which was excellent, and the chowder is good, but not great. I had heard that they had gone downhill a bit, but for nostalgia I really... More
