Really good sushi. Chef wasn't the most skilled performance I've seen, but he was good and personable. Hibachi itself was great.

The take out experience was just so so. I had better sushi somewhere else. I wished the hibachi could be more tasty...

I find this to be the best fo the hibachi places in RI. The meats are fresh and prepared well. The serving size is very generous and the appetizers, drinks and desserts are also very good. Service is just average ad the prices are very high.

I am not sure about all the positive reviews, maybe they went downhill since then? Or maybe some people have never been to any other Japanese steakhouse and have nothing to compare it to. Well, I have. For over 20 years, Oki's in N Providence was the only game in town, but they went downhill and has since closed. Many... More

A group of 7 of us that included 3 kids ate here at the hibachi table. The show was entertaining, service was attentive and the food was pretty good. My filet could have been more tender but it was still tasty. They didnt have any ketchup for the kids, so one of us ran across the street to a small... More

My husband and I stopped here for dinner and were looking forward to a good meal based on the ratings here...unfortunately, that was not the case. The food itself was about average, but service and pricing was not acceptable. We thought sodas came with free refills...not so much. We were charged for five sodas, at $2 each!! Next, the fried... I experienced the most vile of racial prejudice at this restaurant from one of the Hibachi chefs. It was disgusting, I would not walk through the doors of this establishment again even if I were dying of hunger. The chef is one of the members of the family who own the restaurant! Just disgusting.

I love coming to shogun. I know that when I leave I will always be full. The chef is usually great. The food is awesome. I usually get the hibachi steak or chicken.. You get two pieces of shrimp with your meal anyways. The only thing I would say that I dont like about this place is that if you... More
