Just ok

Our server was not very good. Portions were ok. The fish I had was not good. Some people had wings and said they were not as good as usual.

We regularly go to Texas Roadhouse, Wes's Rib house, etc. We went to Smokey Bones because we were hungry and there. Worst experience in a long time. First, what were they thinking when they chose the décor. What brilliant executive decided to go for the tiny slice of the population - what they must think are hip young people (you... More

All I can say is if you like BBQ Ribs Pulled Pork this is the place for you. You can even pick what kind of sauce from their list. And if your paying with a credit card you can do it right at your own table.

We all know restaurants tend to make lousy and expensive drinks but SB's brings it to unprecedented levels. I've watched them make mixed drinks- they barely put an ounce of booze in. Imagine the gall of getting a 2 ounce Kettle martini, really outright criminal to gouge patrons like that. The bartender said it was 'corporate policy' then added it... More

We visited with family we have not seen in a year by sharing a meal at Smokey Bones. There were 10 of us and they provided us with two long picnic style tables which were side by side. The drinks and food was perfect for our family get together. The restaurant provided us with two waitress which kept the food... More

We went as a party of 8 on a Saturday night. The server was friendly, but seemed new. Our drinks came fast and so did refills. She did not clear the previous cups though. We ordered appetizers, fried pickles and buff-a-que wings. They were wet and previously had been dry on other visits. My daughter ordered the macaroni and cheese,... More

Smokey Bones is a great place for BBQ, but keep in mind it is a sports bar on the weekends and at night. As a result, it can get a little loud. We've eaten here a few times and have come back because of the great food. We've never had any trouble with orders being right and the service has... More

Last night my husband and I had dinner at Smokey Bones. We were initially disappointed because we both ordered the beef brisquet, but the waitress came back with menus advising that they were out of the briquet (at 5 PM). We both ordered a combination plate of baby back ribs with a grilled chicken breast. My husband ordered corn bread... More

We dined at Smokey Bones late on a Sunday afternoon during football season. We were seated a distance from the bar with the televisions. There was a group of intoxicated males who were extremely loud and yelling during a football game. And I mean yelling. Slurred speech and gaits. We will bring ear buds next time. As for the food,... I had one negative experience here in the past due to a botched order. Since that time I have frequented this place several times. Rhode Island is not known for it's barbecue, and it is difficult to find in restaurants other than in chain bar and grills like Chili's. Based on this, I would definitely say that the barbecue at...
