I had one negative experience here in the past due to a botched order. Since that time I have frequented this place several times. Rhode Island is not known for it's barbecue, and it is difficult to find in restaurants other than in chain bar and grills like Chili's. Based on this, I would definitely say that the barbecue at... We went there on July 4. It was a stormy night, so we figured less people would eat out. But we didn't think of less waiters came to work because of the holiday. We waited for 45 minutes. Brisket and baby back ribs were good but not excellent. They were pretty dried and needed extra sauce to chow down. The... More

This is one our favorite chain restaurants because they have great quality BBQ, but this location by far has been the best. Everything was absolutely perfect. Their smoked grilled wings were absolutely out of this world! Super crispy, but still juicy with the slight char marks and the drizzling of their sauce... We got the baby back rib and pulled... More

Went out to dinner with one other person just to get some BBQ. First time coming, there was a little bit of a wait. The food was really good and cooked to what I asked for. Although my one selection of meat had a lot of fat on the piece. The service was slower and took a little bit to... More

as someone who does not eat anything off of a bone, someone forced me to try the smoked bbq chicken wings here and I am obsessed! I still wont eat anything with a bone except for these wings every once in a while. Most amazing flavor, perfectly crispy and tender, absolutely LOVE these wings.

This place is truly unique with the best tasting wings and home made kettle chips! We also had the best tasting steak and fish. This place is HIGHLY recommended as a must stop on your travels.

As a frequent visitor to Smokey Bones, I decided to try two new menu items: Corn Dogs and the Brewben Sandwich, a Reuben made with Bratwurst. As usual, we got there early and were seated immediately. As usual, the server was prompt, friendly and courteous. Had the corn dogs as an appetizer. They arrived and appeared to be overcooked. Indeed,... More

Tried the smoked chicken wings for the first time. WOW!! Not only were they juicy and fell right off the bone, but they are better for you than the traditional "fried" chicken wings. I highly suggest trying these bad boys out ;)

I really love ribs and I think they should stick to one thing. They have too much on the menu to do anything well.
