What a Find for a Family Get Together!

We went as a party of 8 on a Saturday night. The server was friendly, but seemed new. Our drinks came fast and so did refills. She did not clear the previous cups though. We ordered appetizers, fried pickles and buff-a-que wings. They were wet and previously had been dry on other visits. My daughter ordered the macaroni and cheese,... More

Smokey Bones is a great place for BBQ, but keep in mind it is a sports bar on the weekends and at night. As a result, it can get a little loud. We've eaten here a few times and have come back because of the great food. We've never had any trouble with orders being right and the service has... More

Last night my husband and I had dinner at Smokey Bones. We were initially disappointed because we both ordered the beef brisquet, but the waitress came back with menus advising that they were out of the briquet (at 5 PM). We both ordered a combination plate of baby back ribs with a grilled chicken breast. My husband ordered corn bread... More

We dined at Smokey Bones late on a Sunday afternoon during football season. We were seated a distance from the bar with the televisions. There was a group of intoxicated males who were extremely loud and yelling during a football game. And I mean yelling. Slurred speech and gaits. We will bring ear buds next time. As for the food,... I had one negative experience here in the past due to a botched order. Since that time I have frequented this place several times. Rhode Island is not known for it's barbecue, and it is difficult to find in restaurants other than in chain bar and grills like Chili's. Based on this, I would definitely say that the barbecue at... We went there on July 4. It was a stormy night, so we figured less people would eat out. But we didn't think of less waiters came to work because of the holiday. We waited for 45 minutes. Brisket and baby back ribs were good but not excellent. They were pretty dried and needed extra sauce to chow down. The... More

This is one our favorite chain restaurants because they have great quality BBQ, but this location by far has been the best. Everything was absolutely perfect. Their smoked grilled wings were absolutely out of this world! Super crispy, but still juicy with the slight char marks and the drizzling of their sauce... We got the baby back rib and pulled... Went out to dinner with one other person just to get some BBQ. First time coming, there was a little bit of a wait. The food was really good and cooked to what I asked for. Although my one selection of meat had a lot of fat on the piece. The service was slower and took a little bit to... More

as someone who does not eat anything off of a bone, someone forced me to try the smoked bbq chicken wings here and I am obsessed! I still wont eat anything with a bone except for these wings every once in a while. Most amazing flavor, perfectly crispy and tender, absolutely LOVE these wings.
