Portofino is now Elizabeth's

I went to Elizabet's however I still refer to it as Portofino. A very good restaurant for the price. Been there twice. The fish and veal dishes are very good quality. The service is very good and attentive. In the end they serve a complementary Italian Pastry along with your coffee and a small... read more

Food and service were above average but the portions were on the smaller side and prices on the higher side.

The food, atmosphere and service are always good. We dine there about every two or three months since we go for special occasions rather than everyday dinners. We went there last night, and most of our party got veal or chicken Parmesan; everyone raved about it. I had the shrimp scampi with orzo, and it was okay. Usually, the roasted... More

We went there the other night for a quiet dinner out. It wasn't too busy; the waiter was always busy, but still attentive. The meatball appetizer was excellent. We almost always get a seafood dish and we are always glad we did. This time, I tried Veal Portofino. Glad I tried it, but I'll probably go back to a seafood... More

The lobster ravioli was excellent, actually the best I've had on the east coast. I did order it thinking that if anyone can make a great lobster ravioli, it would be an Italian restaurant in Rhode Island, and I wasn't wrong. Huge chunks of lobster meat, and the seared scallop added something special. My husband had the veal saltimbocca, and,... More

Took a chance by googling Italian restaurants in Warwick and hit the jackpot! Authentic Italian with a reasonably quiet atmosphere. Mature, friendly wait staff. Appeared to have quite a few local clientel. Baked stuff shrimp with risotto was excellent. Lots of local fresh seafood options. Convenient to Green airport.

I frequent this restaurant and have never been disappointed. Their food is always fresh and cooked to perfection at reasonable prices. Last evening i enjoyed a shrimp and prosciutto appetizer which was enough to be my meal and perfectly prepared. The service is always welcoming and hospitable. I have recommended this restaurant to several out of state friends and they... More

My husband and I went there twice in June and had different food each time. Both times were very good. My husband is extremely fussy about food, but he rated the food 9 out of 10 both times, which he rarely does. But, being a guy, he needs more food than I do. He would like to see portions that... Whenever I visit RI, I always have dinner at Portofino. The selection and preparation of entrees is very goodl, and the service is extremely attentive. The owner, Elizabeth, is warm and friendly and always manages to stop by to say hello. Always an enjoyable evening.
