Admittedly, my partner and I are foodies. Among ethnic cuisines, Thai is a favorite. The Warwick area boasts at least 4 Thai restaurants, and Thai Excursion scored favorably on Trip Advisor and among local media. Shame on us for not noticing how old those media reviews were. Duck curry featured duck that was breaded - mushy, not crispy - and... More

Thai Excursion is conveniently located on Route 1 not far from the Airport and convenient to Route 95. We ordered Pork Dumplings, Pad Thia, Drunken Noodles and Pad Se-U. The 6 dumplings were lightly fried and were delicious. They were served with a ginger sauce. The main dishes were excellent with the veggies being fresh and crisp. Portions were generous.... More

Hands down the BEST Thai food. Toni is extremely knowledgeable about the fare, how it's prepared, level of heat, texture etc and makes you feel right at home! My favorites so far: Larb Gai-wonderful balance of heat and sweetness; pad Thai-AWESOME-velvety, not stuck together like a lot of restaurants serve theirs; squid salad-AWESOME again, healthy with plenty of cilantro-YUM! Make... More

Saturday night and the place was nearly full but we got a table. The food was delicious. We enjoyed salads, chicken curry and seafood curry. Portions were ample, hot, and timely. The place was being served by one waiter who did a great job keeping up with the customers. The barmaid pitched in delivering plates and refilling drinks. We ate... More

Love the drunken noodles with some boiled coconut rice. The price is a little high, but overall we have always liked the food here, even before they moved to their Post Rd location.

I have been coming here since they first opened on Jefferson blvd. I have only ordered two things, pad thai country, and the spicy fried rice with basil. I cant help it they are two terrific dishes. Price is reasonable, portions are good size and food is consistent. I usually get takeout but once in a while will dine-in. It... More

After deciding to go to another thai restaurant, Lemongrass, we couldn't find it but saw the sign for Thai Excursion and gave it a shot. We were glad we did. The waitress was friendly and made excellent recommendations. I had my standard green curry and my partner had a warm steak salad, both were excellent.

After reading a number of reviews of this place I decided to go while I was in Warwick on business. I wish I hadn't as this was the biggest waste of an hour and a half I have had in a long while. I wish I could have given a partial circle on my rating. The food is priced OK,... More

Yes it's in a strip mall, but the decor isn't all that great, as others have gushed. I wouldn't impress a date here, unless we were both big Thai fans. IMHO, this is a modest restaurant putting out better than average Thai food. The menu is intelligently and humorously laid out (vegetarian selections are titled "Buddha Approved"). My Pad Thai... Authentic Thai food made from fresh ingredients. And Toni at the bar makes great drinks, is very sociable, and knows the menu from front to back and will make sure you order what you like. One thing if you love spicy food to the 100th degree they will make it for you!!
