Pleasantly Surprised

My wife and I stopped by on our way home to Boston from MY. Being rather late, we thought we'd have to settle for fast food. Tripadvisor came through again. Great atmosphere and good food. Definitely worth a repeat.

The Iron Works Tavern has such a comfortable atmosphere. Attire ranges from casual to dressy. The manager is very attentive. We always get the calamari to start. I am also a big fan of the grilled Margarita pizza. The menu changes seasonally so there is always something new to try. My only negative comment is that the desserts are only... More

This pleasant restaurant is set in a building which once housed an iron forge. Some remnants of the forge are still visible. In rooms above the main dining room you can get a glimpse of refurbished offices that once were occupied by the officers of the company. The main dining room has a huge bar center stage with tables around... More

When. I walked into the tavern I was greeted with a lovely aroma and I knew I was in for great food. I've never had such sophisticated cuisine for such a reasonable price at a local tavern. I ordered the Ahi Tuna, which came with green beans. I would have never thought this combination could be so delicious. Great job!

Great place to eat, have drinks and meet friends. Great location by the airport with easy access to Warwick and Appanaug. Great food, and reasonable prices and attached to the Hilton Garden Inn which is a plus when traveling. Highly recommend to just relax or to meet friends.

We went for dinner and were greeted by a very happy to see us hostess. Our Irish dinners were great. Olivia was a wonderful server. The Guinness was delicious as well as the Guinness dessert. We'll be back.

Stevef-what a great review from a seasoned local Newport resident—especially about St Patrick Day feedback. Bianca and Olivia are very personable and pay attention to detail with their guests. Let us now next time you are in Warwick—don’t wait for a holiday! More

Living near by my wife and I would always drive by the Iron Works and would say we should give that place a try. Well we finally did and weren't disappointed , great atmosphere and food , only down side is its a bit pricy but worth giving them a try

redsox_dave09 –what a nice review! Happy to hear that you finally stopped in to see what the Iron Works Tavern was all about! Our building was once a factory—with many interesting Warwick history facts. We do have half priced appetizers everyday from 3pm-6pm. Stop in after work since you are both close—come and enjoy a Flatbread Pizza for $6.50--a great... More
