Good food & good bar service

I came to stay at Hilton Garden Inn Airport & this place is attached to it so made it convenient to go there for dinner. I ordered soup of the day which was cream of cauliflower, that was delicious. For my meal I ordered the sword fish, as you can see from the picture it's two decent size pieces... read more

overpriced for what you get. Server knocked my drink onto my dinner. They offered me a 10% discount on next dinner. I had to argue with a manager that my drink soaked meal was not acceptable. There won't be a next time.

We had a few meals here while staying in the attached hotel for a couple of days. The Iron Works Tavern also provides the room service for the hotel. The food is average. It is okay but nothing great. When it came time for yet another meal, we decided calling a local pizza place to deliver to our room was... More

Overall, the food and service are good. If you want one of the specials, be sure to have a second and third choice; sometimes they run out. When there is live music, it can be crowded but fun.

made reservations through Open Table last Friday. They have 1/2 apps early in the evening and we had a great time and shared several appetizers - all were great, but the french fries were the best! Good location, great prices and excellent wait staff. We will definitely go back again.

Lots of variety on the dinner menu. Portions were good and food very tasty. However, dessert menu was very lacking in options. Our waitress highly recommended the freshly fried donuts that were made on the premises. What a disappointment. They were so dry it was like eating week old donuts. Should work to offer better selections for dessert to compliment... More

Went here for a private dinner with the Wedding Party and family members. They have an outstanding private function room upstairs. The food they served was Top notch. The servers and staff were all very professional. Highly recommend this place. Wedding party enjoyed it so much they came back the next night after the Wedding Reception!

Marjorie C, thank you for rating your special wedding weekend "top notch"! Our private function space, Upstairs at the Tavern is a perfect venue for wedding rehearsal dinners. The staff enjoyed entertaining your guests on both nights. Send best wishes again to the bride and groom from Sarah and her team. More

We went to Ironworks Tavern a while ago and found it very enjoyable. We are looking forward to dining there again soon. The restaurant has a nice bar and is very cozy inside. The food was great, a good selection.

Had lunch here for the first time while dropping my daughter off at the airport. Good thing we left early, kind of slow for a simple lunch. Appetizer of eggplant very small for the price. Onion soup and salad were OK, soup not that flavorful and it took a long time for what was an easy lunch. asked the waiter... More

DMM91,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. My sincere apologies for your unsatisfactory experience with us, especially on your first visit. You are correct that your lunch should not have taken as long as it did. This is certainly our not our standard. I have shared your review with our Chef to discuss flavors and potions sizes.... Food and service were good, but it caters to adults from the Warwick community who enjoy drinking with the lights dimmed low. Not recommended for small children.

Thank you Duane F for taking the time to send us your feedback. The restaurant's building dates back to 1918 and the bar /dining area are all on the same level. We are currently looking into alternatives with the lighting with the high 30 foot ceilings. We do have several options for the kids like chicken tenders, Mac & Cheese,... More
