Best Hotel Pub/Tavern in ages

I was traveling through RI and ended up staying at Hilton Garden in Warwick, not far form Green Airport. I was bushed and i've not had good luck with hotel fare. This place was a complete departure from the run-of the mill hotel dives out there. Food was great - I had the bacon infused meatloaf... read more

The Clam Chowder was enjoyable and presented well. The Lobster Roll was excellent. There are lots of beer options and the atmosphere is warm, "pubby" and pleasing.

We used to go to Iron Works all the time, and loved it. The last time we were there we had not been there for more than 1-1/2 hours and they told us they needed our table. It was in a way he thought was kind, but in all fairness, he was very offensive when he asked us to leave.... More

Needed a place to eat while waiting for our flight to leave PVD Airport. My wife and I found the Iron Works Tavern and had a great meal. She started with an Arugula Salad with Roasted Beets and Sunflower Seeds. It had great flavor and texture. She also had some of their Parmesan truffle fries which were very good. Finally... More

The baby shower for my daughter yesterday was a great success!! The food and service were excellent!!! The staff answered all of our questions and knew exactly what they were they were doing....All along I worked with Sarah Hoffman. She was always pleasant and knowledgeable and got right back to me throughout the process!! The food was served on time... More

We wind up here about once a month on average and for the most part the food has been tasty and the service good. The last time, we were there in time to get 1/2 price appetizers. We shared three and split a salad and there was more than enough food for an early dinner. I recommend the stuffed eggplant,... More

Although not widely advertised, happy hour (3-6) appetizers can make a good tapas meal. My wife and I shared lamp popsicles "(2 decent sized chops), 8 asian wings, grilled brussel sprouts with spicy sauce and blue cheese, calamari, bacon wrapped scallops and stuffed eggplant for about $60. Sure beats regular price.

Went here while on work travel solely because of trip advisor reviews and I was not disappointed. Good atmosphere and service. The building itself is also really cool. Sat at bar and had a few "local" beers and some food. The special soup was lobster and corn chowder which was probably the best I've ever had. Big pieces of lobster... More

What a pleasant surprise after a long day. We happened to visit during restaurant week so ordered from the special menu. The quality of the food was exceptional, and the service went right along with the that. This place is more than a pub.

Jimraffel- Thank you for the review and recognizing that the Iron Works Tavern is more than just a Pub. Our interior does have a Gastropub feel, but our food reflects both quality tavern comfort items as well as specials with a modern twist. Happy you were able to join us during restaurant week and enjoyed the food and service! Come... More
