The food was good, but the understaffed bar service (we ate at high tops) was prevalent. I think, what strikes me most is that the bar area really needs a pick me up. Looking a bit rough around the edges in that area

We went with friends to this fine buffet, which not only offers the usual made-to-order eggs but also superb roast beef and pork, wonderful sticky cinnamon buns, and a truly wonderful coffee chooclate chip cheesecake. The service at the food stations is excellent: when my wife asked for rare roast beef, the server cut into the middle of a large... More

A good measure of a restaurant is how they handle tables larger than 4 people. Went to Eleven Forty Nine and had mixed results. First though I have to say the restaurant is spotless and very well designed. Now to the review, our group of six was greeted and seated promptly, but was given 2 wine lists, 2 dinner menus... More

Noisy and crowded atmosphere. The service is less than adequate and obviously overworked. The menu items are overpriced for what you get. The food is only average. The atmosphere is good at the bar if you are single and over 50 years old. We felt confused and neglected by the time we left.

We visited this restaurant a few times before, but never tried Sunday Brunch. We came for Sunday Brunch in October. It was 8 of us. Brunch included coffee or tea, Mimosas/Bloody Mary cost $5 or Bottomless Mimosa - $10. There were a few different stations: Clam & corn chowder/ salads/antipasti/smoked salmon station, carving station with pork tenderloin & beef prime... More

I had been asked to go to this restaurant many times over the years and this was my first visit. The atmosphere when you walk in is contemporary and warm. We had a reservation for 7 PM on a Saturday night and we arriveed at 6:55, the valet took our car and we entered and were seated right away. The... More

Nice, diversified menu with excellent quality, presentation, and value. Our server was attentive and informative (sorry, I forgot her name) and made sure that everyone was satisfied with their meal selection. Atmosphere was conducive for a nice group gathering. And while I do not live in the immediate area, I hope to be able to return one day and sample... More

lovely inside, food was good with some interesting upgrades. Desserts were outstanding and reasonably priced. Service was sloooow. So many staff but most ignored customers. We went at 3:00 & there were very few of us. Rest room also needed cleaning. I watched as staff folded napkins, polished silverware, glasswear, & plates. To get a fork they had too go... More

Although a bit expensive, it is well worth the price as the selections are phenomenal. The food is fresh, hot, and the bacon is extra crispy. The eggs were fluffy, and the omlette my friend ordered was, in her words, perfect. The roast was cooked perfectly. I had the end cut, which was very tasty, although the herb crust was... More

I finally got the chance to try this famous Sunday Brunch earlier this month. For cold dishes, there were smoked salmon with all the fixings, mixed greens and all the salad items to go with it. In addition,it served the usual breakfast items like eggs, bacon, sausages, home fries, plus baked fish, chicken, pasta ,roasted vegetables and carving station for... More
