Great breakfast, lunch

Love their Jumbalaya (sp?) in addition to the standard menu items. They used to be open Fri nightes for dinner, call to see if they are still doing this. // The room can be noisy but, then again, that seems to be a universal factor to all restaurants these days. Recommend, nice owners too.

Cozy space, friendly ,love it for breakfast! Especially the Mexican huevos rancheros. Resonable prices, popular, you may have a wait on the weekends, Byob , closed on Tuesdays.

After moving to Wakefield I started exploring all of the wonderful food options, and although I love many of the other diner-style breakfast joints they just don't compare to this place. The service was great, and the food was FANTASTIC! Very good selection and unique options to spice up what could be just another breakfast place. I highly recommend this... More

• We been eating at this local dinner for years. Excellent breakfast and dinners. If you are looking for some great Cajun, Creole, Mexican style food. This New Orleans-style neighborhood café is the place. We love the wait staff, always incredibly friendly but very busy. The Dinner menu offers a soup special and four dinners, New Orleans style fried Catfish,... More

The breakfast here is delicious and very affordable. We usually bring something to make mimosas as it is byob. You can get some traditional breakfast food here as well as some more unusual options.

Consistently great breakfasts all the time. Southwest flavor if you want it, but lots of old standbys and interesting specials. The wait staff communicates well with the kitchen staff, and food is always served as requested, especially important if you like crispy bacon and medium eggs! Highly recommend this place.

We were in Newport travelling home to Westerly looking for an inexpensive quick lunch that would satisfy a 10 year old with a difficult pallet and 2 adults that weren't sure what they felt like. You know what I'm talking about! Anyway I remembered eatting at the Bluebird Cafe. What I like is they serve breakfast all day which took... More

Eat there once or twice a month. Excellent food at a reasonable price. Service is great and quick. It's a small restaurant in a little string of businesses. Recommend this place to everyone

I am a regular at the Bluebird for 8 years. I've never had a bad food experience here. However, the service has become really, really bad. It's almost as if they resent that they have to do their job, and we should be grateful they serve us at all. I went for dinner last night, it was a packed house,... More
