Stopped by here for lunch on Tuesday, August 26th with my daughter, son in law and sister. Found the prices way out of line compared to many of the seafood places I have visited in my last two weeks here in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Given, the setting along the river is beautiful but the food was just plain awful... More

Ordered at the take out window so we could sit at the shaded picnic tables. Full service dining is offered on the patio. Had wonderful RI clam chowder with a lobster salad. The clear broth based chowder was seasoned perfectly and had diced potatoes along with clams. Not a grain of sand in the cup. The lobster was obviously old... More

TOTAL RIPOFF. Went to Evelyn't for the first time this season, and the owners should be ashamed of themselves. They are known for lobster rolls with all tail meat. The draw back is that you have to cut the lobster and mix it with the mayo yourself, so it isn't cold like most lobster rolls.Last season the price was in... More

This is not our first trip here. Our daughter rents a place in the summer in Little Compton so we usually make a trip here. It has been featured on Chronicle (Boston Ch 5). They have a pick-up window, outside or inside dinning. Although the outside has a great view we prefer the A/C. We were there for lunch. I... More

My husband and I were in Newport for the Jazz Festival and we searched on Phantom Gourmet for places to eat, assuming anything in downtown Newport would be too crowded. This was a short ride (11 miles) from our hotel, and easy to get to. The food came out FAST and was very good. We had the clamcakes and seafood... More

This will be a very short review. My wife and I had seen this restaurant featured on a TV magazine program and wanted to try it. It is located in Tiverton RI and is right on the water. We walked up to the window after checking the menu board posted above it. I wanted a fisherman's platter and it was... More

This is a no frills place right along the water. You walk up to the window to order and wait for your order to be ready. There was a bit of a crowd waiting, but everyone was polite and kind, asking if you were in line to order or waiting for your meal. The workers couldn't have been nicer. There... More

Stopped here for dinner while in the area on business. This is definitely a super casual, not fancy place to eat, but the view is amazing as it's right on the water and they do have outdoor seating. We tried several different appetizers (garlic shrimp, stuffie, fried pickles and fried shrimp). The pickles were actually the best of all those,... More

This place is just a small dive right on the water. It's cool looking. The food is probably slightly over priced but it is certainly decent. The atmosphere is relaxing. I found it pretty enjoyable.

Good food, fresh, on a patio overlooking the water. Your basic seafood joint, full bar, friendly service, and much more than just fried food.
