Great place for a nice hearty soup and sandwich. I can never make up my mind since I have so many favorites. Should it be the Gobbler (Thanksgiving sandwich), the Weetamoe (open faced chicken salad), the Bat out of Hell (meatloaf sandwich) or should I go with one of their many Greek food offerings. With each sandwich you get a... More

My husband and I ate here for the first time . We've been driving by it for almost a year and we finally took the plunge to stop in. It was rainy and raw , we were greeted by smiles every where. Our waitress noticed we were cold and immediately recommended a nice hot soup of the day, which was... More

Fresh and wonderful baked good, breakfasts and sandwiches big enough for two to share. Seaside location with off street parking.

First time at this quaint little eatery that came highly recommended. First you place your order at the door which was a bit difficult because on busy days with customers behind you as the menu is fairly large along with posted specials. You feel a bit rushed. However ,when the food arrived you soon forgot this slight inconvenience. We all ordered the... More

It was a rainy day so we decided to lunch out...the Goose is a neighborhood restaurant of friends who talked it up. We found it to be enjoyable, but the spanakopita could have been warmer and the lobster roll I had, though full of lobster, lacked spicing and the toasted roll could have been warmer. Service was good, view of... More

Stopped in for a lobstersalad sandwich with a sangria & my friend had the Et Tu Brute. Both were great. Thoroughly enjoyed the Sangria! We were too full to try their deserts, but they certainly looked great! Sat on the deck overlooking the water.. was perfect. It puzzles me how just several yards beyond this restaurant is another, that I... More

It is hard to find anything to complain about. The question is what could they do to be better? I had lunch there today with a friend. My turkey sandwich with avocadoes was excellent. the tiny serving of potato salad was laughable as its portion size and tastelessness. They need to make their own or spend more on their vendors'... Thanks for your review. We make our own side orders so I will be sure to talk with the prep-person to double check seasoning. We have been a bit slow taking orders lately due to the loss of our touch screen. A new one is on the way which should help speed up orders. Try us again and hopefully you... More

We stopped by mostly because it was right on the way to where we were headed. It was an excellent lunch! Instead of the standard fish sandwiches and clam rolls that a lot of places seem to have, they had a nice variety of other interesting salads and dishes -would definitely come back. Very friendly too.

Through fog and mist, the views made for a relaxing afternoon meal. The menu will surprise you, from fish tacos to pulled pork sliders to many Greek standards like gyros and baklava. Good eats and friendly service will guarantee a return visit!

The Black Goose is a rare find. The food is delicious. The prices are reasonable and they have a view. My husband had a fresh ahi tuna salad with a beet soup. I had zesty tomato bisque with a salad. You can enjoy larger entrees or smaller bites. They have thirst quenching sangria - luscious fruit. The staff is friendly,... More
