It doesn't get any better!

This place blows me away every time I go. It's not just the fresh ingredients used or the fine preparation of the food, it's the attention to detail of each and every staff member. Based on recommendations from a friend, four of us ventured to Matunuck Oyster Bar for dinner and drinks. There was a long line for valet parking and an even longer wait for a table- we were told 35 minutes to an hour. In the meantime, we were able to find 4 seats in the bar area. Rather than waiting for... More

Since we are locals, we tend to avoid Matunuck Oyster Bar in the summer due to the insane crowds, but with family visiting, we arrived at 11:00 since they open at 11:30. After about a 15 minutes wait by the water, our party of 7 was seated upstairs with a beautiful view of Potter's Pond, where some of the local... More

MOB has good oysters, but they are not cheap. Their Matunuck oysters are tasty, but tiny. During the summer months you always have to wait to get your car parked (10-15 minutes) and to get a table (45-60 minutes). The location on Matunuck tidal lagoon is really nice and almost makes the wait worthwhile. Food is good, not great! Oyster... More

This place is always busy , now I know why. The oysters and tuna were some of the best I ever had. Restaurant is classy but casual . Also had the lobster roll and that was great also. We sat outside which was covered for sun and rain.

I tried each oyster available As well as the trio of oysters that are cooked I was literally licking the shell of the bourbon one. Rockefeller mmmm so good. The employees were pleasant. The wine list is solid. If I lived nearby I would definitely be there once a week

We've decided the best time to visit on Saturday is between 3:15 and 4:15 based on the wait time. We got there around 2:15 and had about a 10 min wait for indoor seating (outdoor would have been 15-20 min). The efficient valet line grew when we left at 4:30. The adults had the oyster sampler (highly recommend), calamari salad,... More

Having lived in New England for almost seventy years and have travel to almost every Lobster Shack and Ocean Side Restaurant in that time period. Without a doubt yesterday's lunch rates right up there in the top three Seaside Seafood places I've ever enjoyed eating at. The food was especially fresh with their own Oyster farm and their own vegetable... More

Don't be scared off by the cars waiting for valet. This restaurant is definitely worth the wait. Great outdoor area for drinks and food. Food was delicious, staff were great, the owner helps with the parking and still has time to go around to each table. We're going again in few weeks. Loved it!!

A farm to table restaurant right on the water. Very popular with 2-3 hour waits if you go during primetime. We went around 3pm and the parking lot was still full, but we got a table right away since we were willing to eat inside. We ate upstairs which has windows all around and we could see in the distance... More
