I like to judge a restaurant initially by the greeting and sense of hospitality. We were completely ignored by the hostess for 20 minutes. We finally got a table and waited another 20 minutes for a waitress to arrive. We asked for bread and drinks as we told her of our long wait but it didn't seem to matter. She... More

Been there for lunch for business and friends and it was very good. - Love that seafood pizza. Tested it for dinner with local friends and family from Boston and we thought it was great! We were a bit all over the place for ordering but the waitress was a GEM. She guided us through the menu and we all... More

A step above the family fare with something for everyone. Good food in a relaxed environment. Even have music on Friday nights.

The soups were very delicious. The fish was good, the sweet potato fries were good, too. However, $21 for an average sized portion of fish and chips is simply way overpriced. Asking for a kids size portion, I was told that it would be same as a regular meal (meaning fish with fries, onion rings and cole slaw), just smaller.... More

So... We get a night out every once in a great while. We have 3 children and 2 full time jobs. When a night out can happen we choose Scampi's specifically on a Friday night. First, there is always congestion at the door. It's just that good. You walk in and your completely underwhelmed by the cliche nautical decor. You... More

I really liked when there was a piano player. The decor was average. The menu is very expensive. The drinks are really expensive , but consistently mixed perfectly! The food is fresh and consistently flavored the same visit after visit. The service is friendly. The bar crowd is good entertainment when there isn't music. Good seafood at gouge - the... More

Went to Scampi on a Friday night in August. I ordered the prime rib special. It was cooked to a perfect medium just as ordered. My sister in law ordered a chicken dish with risotto and she loved it. My husband ordered a cheeseburger of all things but said it was excellent. They had good entertainment. The person singing had... More

We walked into Scampi having not read any reviews: that was a mistake. My husband and I dine out frequently. We thought the prices were on the high side, but were hopeful the meals would be worth the price. After taking our orders, our waitress said she'd be out with the bread: it never happened, but we let that slide.... More

Have been going to Scampi for a couple of years. Food has always been very good & so has the service. Prices are reasonable. There was "nothing" done for the birthday person, would have been nice after spending a good $200.00 (dinner for 4). Maybe even a "Happy Birthday" when we were leaving.

We are locals that have been visiting Scampi for a few years. We had dinner here on Saturday late afternoon. Service was very good, the food not so much. My husband had the catch of the day, which was broiled haddock. The fish was flavorless but the worst part of the meal were the mashed potatoes, looked and tasted like... More
