Fieldstones is a great spot whether you are meeting up with friends to have a drink, grabbing a quick bite and a few appetizers, or having a nice dinner/date night. It's a casual and friendly environment and the staff and service is always great. Prices are average and you get what you pay for. The Patriot Nachos here are fantastic!... More

I've eaten here a couple of times and never really been blown away by the food, which is at best average. The best thing this place has going for it is the relative lack of comparable competition in the immediate area. My most recent trip involve being told there was a 20 minute wait for a table (fair enough). After... More

During a recent visit to Newport, Rhode Island we took the advice of local friends and went to this low key and casual restaurant for lobster rolls. Now there are too many restaurants and pubs touting their "wonderful" lobster rolls which usually have as much mayo and celery as lobster but Fieldstones are just lobster and more lobster. Huge chunks... More

Fieldstones, your sandwiches never disappoint. Your food is always fresh, your french fries always served hot (yes, hot! not warm). Good American comfort food. The pulled pork sandwich has been my favourite since I moved to Rhode Island in November, but today's reuben sandwich matched that level of yumminess and was amazing! The clam chowder and chili was delicious. Fieldstones,... More

Husband and I stopped in on our way out of town and we were not disappointed. Husband ordered a burger and I had a chicken salad wrap. Both were great and the fried that came with were perfect, crisp not soggy and not too salty. We both enjoyed our lunch and it was very affordable. Great casual place; highly recommend... More

After a weekend away, we decided not to stop on the long drive home and drove straight to FIELDSTONES! It was an Oasis after a weekend of dining mishaps. The lobster rolls were gigantic and my salmon Caesar was delicious. My family's onion rings were cooked perfectly. We truly enjoyed our meal.

We stopped in for lunch & were pleasantly surprised. My husband & I ordered 2 sandwiches but could easily shared one. The portions were huge. The Bristol ferry sandwich with salmon was our favorite. A large piece of perfectly cooked salmon on the roll was outstanding. The short rib melt was also great. Great flavors, crispy onion strings & fries,... More

The five of us had dinner. The food and service were above expectations. The restaurant is a few miles from downtown Newport, and it worth the trip.
