Huge portions for lunch. Great soup and chicken wings. Friendly servers kept the glasses full. Old fashion chicken sandwich was the best!

This location has seen about 3 restaurants in the bldg in the last several yrs. The decor in the previous places was much nicer than now but the food seems to be somewhat better and they have developed a solid group of followers as the place is SRO at times in the evening. It may be because there are so... More

They can make gluten free shepards pie or patriot nachos. Both are delicious. On a cold day the shepards pie is great comfort food.

We eat lunch here a couple of times a week. Excellent sandwiches and salads and soups . Food is always pretty good as is the service. Place is loud though, and the wait for food can be long at times.

Good neighborhood restaurant for any occasion. Food is good and reasonably priced. Menu offers full meals or lighter fare if you are in the mood for a sandwich or burger. Drinks are good and also reasonably priced. The only negative is that one person can be seated at a table to reserve it for the rest of his/her party which... More

Fieldstones is a great spot whether you are meeting up with friends to have a drink, grabbing a quick bite and a few appetizers, or having a nice dinner/date night. It's a casual and friendly environment and the staff and service is always great. Prices are average and you get what you pay for. The Patriot Nachos here are fantastic!... More

I've eaten here a couple of times and never really been blown away by the food, which is at best average. The best thing this place has going for it is the relative lack of comparable competition in the immediate area. My most recent trip involve being told there was a 20 minute wait for a table (fair enough). After... More

During a recent visit to Newport, Rhode Island we took the advice of local friends and went to this low key and casual restaurant for lobster rolls. Now there are too many restaurants and pubs touting their "wonderful" lobster rolls which usually have as much mayo and celery as lobster but Fieldstones are just lobster and more lobster. Huge chunks... More

Fieldstones, your sandwiches never disappoint. Your food is always fresh, your french fries always served hot (yes, hot! not warm). Good American comfort food. The pulled pork sandwich has been my favourite since I moved to Rhode Island in November, but today's reuben sandwich matched that level of yumminess and was amazing! The clam chowder and chili was delicious. Fieldstones,... More
