I've been to Walt's many times over the years, this recent trip was for the fish. I don't know what these other people are talking about, this Walt's is neither dated inside or outside! There are a couple flat screen TV's to watch while waiting or eating. Does that sound dated to you? Love the roast beef, it's thinly sliced... More

If you can ignore the dated decor, you will find an always consistent experience at this location - a very decent RB sandwich with great fries at a good price. I've tried other locations and the consistency was not always good but this one seems to get it right. Staff is friendly and they keep the place clean. Good value.

If you are in the mood for a roast beef sandwich stop at Walt's. They are known for their roast beef (as the company name hints at), and it is truly one of my favorites. The only derogatory thing I have to say about Walt's is that the inside is grubby and out dated. The place could use a major... More

The best was at Warwick Mall but that one closed 5 years ago. I have been going for about 8 years. I first started with the Johnston one which I am glad Walt's realized was a dump, I go less and less to Cranston because it has gone down hill and does not have an adaquate parking lot. The one... Go there about twice a month for the last several years. Always a good meal. They are usually very busy, so expect to wait about 15 mins for your food.

We visited Walt's whilst on vacation from the UK. I only wish we could get something similar back home! The sandwiches were delicious but I wish I had known I could have added a topping - unfortunately we were in a hurry and the staff did not give us this option or seem too keen to help. Even so, I... I remember this place from about 10 years ago and it was terrific but tonights visit was a BIG disappointment to say the least. There was no taste to the roast beef and it used to be nice and juicy and tasty. It was dry and overcooked and looked sick on the toasted bun. We drove quite a ways in... More
