My Mother and I stopped in for dinner last week. Although I have only been in there once about six months ago, I would believe the decor hasn't changed at all in years. Its a homey locals place and that is fine. The food was good, large portions for a great price. I enjoy good food and the portion size... More

Everything in my burger was dead- on; juicy tender burger, vinigar absorbent fries and colesaw that my pallet enjoyed . (Picky with coleslaw)

Week after week you'll see the same faces in the Roast House and they keep coming back for years. Nice hands-on owner with a very friendly staff, plenty of large booths and tables that are often filled with families. If you're not part of a crowd, there's a long, friendly bar and a few high-tops for singles and couples. Also,... More

We enjoyed our meal here. The service was a little slow, but friendly (Monday night, I figure it's a little quiet). We ordered Baked Haddock & Shrimp (substituted for Haddock and Scallops) and the Chicken Madeira Fontaine. Loved both. Dessert to go was a peanut butter chocolate cake which was ok. Prices were great. It's a local neighbourhood bar type... More

Visited this restaurant twice within a couple of months. I never review a restaurant on a single visit. Both times, a weekend and a weeknight I enjoyed the food and the service. The atmosphere is casual, clean and attractive. They have a large menu with average prices. I definately would not hesitate to go back.

we visited the Roast House on the recommendation of family and although the food was tasty and I could not fault it, I found the portions much too large. The menu was large and varied and there would be something there for everyone but it certainly is not good for dieters! I would probably go back again but be more... More

We decided to stop in for dinner this past Saturday night with our 7 year old son. We ordered wings and potato skins as appetizers. They were fine and we finished the wings. I then ordered a Mediterranean salad with grilled chicken on baby field greens. I had ordered balsamic vinegar and oil on the side. When my salad came... More
