Pub style menu. Sandwiches are good. Steak dinner is my favorite. It is a nice atmosphere. Pub is small so can be a wait at times.

Bentley's Tavern is an awesome little pub in the middle of the little country town of Scituate. Not a lot going on in this town but if you happen to drive thru, stop by.

Went to Mohegan Sun for a minimoon with the husband and we saw this place on the way there. Read some reviews and decided we should stop for lunch on the way back home. Good choice. So good I'm writing a review on my way home. We went on a Monday afternoon so it wasn't busy. I ordered the burger... More

The only thing that was good was the cold beer. Sat near the door last night and had a unfriendly waitress. Had to go somewhere else for food. We loved going to the old Bentley's,

Went there for a late night bite with a couple of friends. None of us had been drinking beforehand, but we were noisy (get five girls together who haven't seen each other in a month, and what do you think will happen?) Imagine our surprise when the bartender, some pudgy kid in his 20's with black hair, refused to serve... More

New name is like Corner Tavern or something.Place got a needed coat of paint, but everything else, like the porcupines hanging from the walls is the same. Food is uniformly good, but not groundbreaking My most recent dinner there was a linguine in a white, though mostly clear clam sauce Clams were outrageously good, large and plentiful (about a dozen),pasta was cooked to my liking... We have been here several times, and past experiences have been much better than today. They usually only have one waitress on, but a seasoned spitfire like Merry could handle the room. Merry is no longer there and the service is suffering. It took 15. Minutes for my husband to receive a glass of wine after he ordered it. I... More

We planned to dine at Corner Bistro down the road, but the parking lot was packed and the line looked long, so we kept on driving to Bentley's Tavern. So glad we did! It's small & cozy, with a large bar. The menu is small, but the four of us each found a dish we liked. All of us were... More

....where ever body knows your name and the food is always five star! Open-mike night on Monday's is fun. Beer and wine selection very good, and desserts homemade.

When I was working, I would pass by Bentley's once or twice a month, a colleague who lives in the area suggested that I stop in for a Rueben sandwich. He said that the owner makes his own corned beef. That did it for me, I stopped in with other folks from my office and we all ordered Rueben's! Unbelievably... More
