My kids love the doughboys and it's just not summer if we didn't go have a special treat of their doughboys at least once! The line is usually very long but it's worth the wait!

Know what youre going for and you wont be disappointed. Unless you're in the area its a hike to get there, so I would'nt make it a "destination". Parking in the street kind of stinks. Wait can sometimes be long even when they aren't busy; however clear chowder is good - clamcakes only average.

Clearly a local institution. Long line-ups outside on the sidewalk all the time. You place your order at the front door and then pick it up when it's ready. Ordered a lunch special with steamers, fried scallops and chowder with fries. The chowder was very tasty with some nice chunks of clam, but a lot of potatoes. Because the food... More

I had never had a doughboy before, and I don't think that I will ever have one as good as the ones they serve at Iggy's. Just the right about of sugar and thickness. Yum. I highly recommend this as a stopping point on any trip through Narragansett.

Visiting from Mexico to my family home towns. Took my grandchildren to have New England clam chowder. Ordered clam cakes too. Took one bite and made me cry. Had to call my sister in Sacramento to tell her mom wasn't in heaven she was back in Rhode Island making clam cakes. Felt like she was cooking for me at home.... More

Small restaurant that has a very small indoor seating area. they also have a few picnic tables for outdoor eating. We picked up clams , clam chowder and a few other seafood dishes to go. Food was good but the lines can get long as it is a big beach crowd

Stopped here before we jumped on the ferry to go over to Block Island. You wont be disappointed eating here! I got a simple grilled cheese and fries, but man, they were delicious! And of course, I got the doughboys! Seriously, if you go here, you MUST have the doughboys. They are big, warm, powdered doughy goodness in a bag.... More

My family and myself stopped here after our day at the beach and after visiting the Light House just around the corner. The prices are very fairly priced and the food was delicious. I ordered the New England Chowder, Clam Cakes and french fries. The chowder was nicely flavored and was delicious. The clam cakes and fries were both done... More

Great seafood and chowder. Prices are reasonable. Have been going here for years and they are always consistant. The staff is friendly and patient even when they are so busy that lines are up the street. Highly recommended any time of year but especially to complete your beach experience in the summer.
