We went there late Saturday afternoon on Labor Day weekend and it was busy but not crowded. Lines do build up so you may have to wait if you're there close to lunch or supper time. There was plenty of seating both indoors and on the outdoor deck. The chowder (I like clear, no dairy) had plenty of clams, so... More

My husband enjoyed his clam roll, someone else had fish and chips and said it was good. I ordered the chicken fingers. I would suggest you try the clam roll, plenty of food. French fries were just okay, nothing to brag about. Have a drink and enjoy the view -

A think it is a bit of hit or miss here, but our lobster, razor necks, steamers, and lobster roll were more than fine. The "stuffies" (stuffed clams) were a bit of a loss. My guess would be that when the crowds are gone the quality goes up a bit. The view is great, lots of seating, and the service... More

😝 Except for the steamers (which were sweet and yummy), everything else was fair at best. The 6 oz of baked 'sea scallops' were so overcooked! They were tough and very chewy. The fries were not crunchy at all, nor were the fried whole belly clams! Half the fun is having them crunchy on the outside. The chowder (white and... More

Third time visiting and couldn't be more pleased. The seafood is always so fresh and delicious. The only thing I didn't care for much was the stuffed shrimp. It tasted ok but it looked unlike anything I've ever eaten before! Not sure what's in their recipe but I'd love to know! Will be back for sure. Lines get long so... More

Stopped by one night for a seafood dinner & we were not disappointed. Tried the stuffed clams & seafood platter which was more than enough for two. The seafood was fresh & tasty & went well with the view of the harbor. The wait was not unbearable given the size of the crowd. Definitely worth another visit.

Nice view right on the water. Very New England feel. We had the steamers, fried clams and baked stuffed flounder. All very, very good. Nice beer selection. Nice cocktail selection. I'd go back in a heart beat.

Years ago Champlins was affordable and the food was good. Now over priced, food mediocre. The eating area is more attractive, but I still sat outside. There used to be long lines waiting to get in now no lines so I am not the only one who is disappointed. Once was,a good value now not so much.

I always go to Champlin's any time I'm in the Narragansett area. I usually go multiple times when I visit. Their seafood is always top notch and I love eating by the water and watching the boats go by. You can lose here, I've always had great experiences here.

We visit Champlins every summer! Unfortunately today they were out of steamers but everyone enjoyed their lobsters, fried clams and raw bar. Great place to sit and watch the busy harbor.
