fresh fish

We enjoyed the freshest fish, rawbar last weekend. You have to order your food and then pick it up and find a seat. What a seat we found. Overlooking the harbor at sunset. Great pictures. The deck has some glass panels on it. You can see everything, but are blocked from the wind. Just eat... read more

It's a great stop for raw oysters, fried clams and peel and eat shrimp! Great view for watching boat traffic. Limited parking but worth the walk.

We come here every time we visit Narragansett. It wouldn't be a trip to the beach unless we ate at Champlins. The seafood platter is enough for my mother-in-law-, myself and my teenage daughter!!! My husband eats the raw bar stuff and my father in law gets the fish and chips. My son gets a cheeseburger or chicken tenders and... More

I am a resident of Narragansett and have always loved Champlin's. When company is in town, we always visit your restaurant with them. Last night we brought a family friend out to Champlin's. We were extremely disappointed. Our lobster rolls were small, soggy and more lettuce than lobster. The calamari was soggy, chewy and cold. The fries were cold and... More

As much as our meal cost, it should have been better. My shrimp scampi served over linguini had barely any flavor,, and cost 17.00, drinks were tiny, they were stingy with things like tartar sauce, it seems to have gone downhill since we visited a few years ago.

Interesting establishment: restaurant, seafood market, ice cream parlor...talk about one stop shopping. I think there was a bakery also..... The views from the upstairs restaurant were amazing. Right on the canal to watch the tugboats and other small boats come in and out. Very casual. Reasonably prices. Good food. Be careful of the oyster shucker....he left a little bit extra... More

Steamers were the best thing we had - plump and tasty. Fried clams decent but nothing exceptional. Fried scallops were tough. Onion rings and stuffed shrimp very greasy. Expensive for quality of the food. Nice view of the marina.

The view and environment are great, classic harbor casual, fried and other seafood. The meal was OK, a couple of full-belly clams tasted dirty but rest ok, corn a bit tough (not yet in summer local season or sitting around soaking too long). Watched boats and the Block Island ferry which was very nice, and charming with the fog rolling... More

This is a great, fun place to eat seafood. Clams, chowders, crab cakes, fish and chips - all yummy (not healthy 😄) while sitting on wooden benches outside on the deck overlooking the ocean. Food is decent; experience is perfect for New England.
