After a day of site seeing(Mystic CT and Watch Hill RI) we stopped here for dinner. I've eaten here for lunch before but never for dinner. The restaurant was busy but got a table quickly. The service was good, attentive and peasant. My problem with this visit was the meals. My date had the swordfish. Covered in diced tomatoes and... More

Darsik1 Thank you for visiting us for dinner. The Simply Grilled Swordfish has been quite popular for its simple preparation of Grilled Swordfish with Arugula and Tomatoes, we are sorry it did not meet your expectations. We do offer a Swordfish entree that is prepared in a putanesca broth, over a bed of fregola infused with Tuscan Style Cauliflower. We... More

Chose Coast Guard House d/t fabulous reviews. Sadly, very disappointing overall. Oysters and lamb apps just fair. Main course lobster ravioli and seafood pasta special for tonight excellent. Matt, our server tried really hard and did his best his best to please. Tough check in with extremely rude patron and super loud atmosphere ruined the evening plus lack of napkin... More

Since being rebuilt the CGH has come in to its own. We had the stuffies which were amazing as was the calamari, and in particular any pasta dish they make is 5 star, especially the ones with the cream sauces. The broiled scallops are another big winner to try. Steaks and prime rib are fine but their specialty is clearly... More

It's a great place for drinks and appetizers. Its especially great when the waves are big, they crash right there. The food is really good and sitting on the top in the open air, well it doesn't get any better. so beautiful and fun..

We never had regular lunch or dinner at The Coast Guard House, but we came for a Wine Dinner a few times. Last wine Dinner was on April 24th. They had 6-course dinner paired with 6 wines. This time theme was Robert Mondavi Wine Dinner. Cost of the dinner was $69 + tax and tip. Dinner started with Marinated Octopus... More

so I have only been there one time, and that was for lunch on a very rainy stormy day. However sitting and watching the angry ocean from this restaurant was awesome. I had the lobster roll which was delicious! I cannot comment to any other food, but have to say my lunch was absolutely wonderful! If for no other reason... More
