We were looking forward to the "full" re-opening of CGH after the damage from Hurrican Sandy. It was worth the wait. 3 of us were there on a snowy night in February . That's sort of redundant if you lived through February during this winter! It was a beautiful view of snow and Narragansett Bay , while sitting in a... More

Our very last stop on our trip to Narragansett was the Coast Guard House. We sat outside and enjoyed the ocean views. Our waitress was wonderful and the food was delicious. If it's too cold to sit outside, the ocean views from inside are great, too.

As others have stated here, this restaurant was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy and it took a long time to rebuild. Previously, the food and service were very poor and the restaurant probably depended mostly on tourist trade in the warmer months along with the drinking crowd on their upstairs, outdoor bar. The redesign has placed the kitchen on the middle... More

We went on a Saturday night. Food was excellent. My issue was there were two large parties in our area. While we were dining chairs and tables were moved around several times causing a distraction.

Great food, great view, all spoiled by the fact that they over charge on food. Was there for Valentine Day. Both ordered the Scallops. 4 small scallops and a tiny salad $25 bucks. Ordered a small side salad $9.00. Ok for tourist biz in the summer, but not worth the drive from Cranston in the winter.

Dined at the Coast Guard House on a busy Saturday. The food was quite good, however, the service did not meet expectations. We waited at least ten minutes for our wine, parts of our food order were missing, and once we received our dinners, our waitress did not return to ask how we were doing at all. We were very... Great seafood at affordable prices. She-crab soup is excellent as is the calamari. But the baked stuffed shrimp stole the show. Six huge, melt-in-your-mouth shrimp with the best stuffing I've ever tasted. The chef would not give it up - and I did ask!
