My husband, nine year old and I just enjoyed our first dining experience at Trio and it was wonderful. In all honesty, we probably wouldn't normally have gravitated there as it is more expensive than the restaurants we usually frequent (especially with a nine year old). We received a gift certificate and so decided to try it and we will... more

I have been to trio twice. The first time I had an outstanding bowl of broccoli rabe/sausage with penne, everything worked in the dish it was just great! The bread and butter was also excellent with the butter being rich and salty and the bread hot and fresh. An apple dessert was good but not great. The service was excellent.... more

I had some yummy lobster truffle tortellini. The service was good and the staff were very friendly. My friend ordered a burger and mussels and he was very satisfied. We stayed for dessert. The blueberry cobbler with mint ice cream and lemon sorbet was to die for. The only thing we weren't crazy about was the chili-infused oil for you... more

I like Trio. I want to like Trio. They make it difficult at times. We have had some delicious meals and some reasonably priced wines as well as cocktails. I enjoyed the beet salad this winter (they menu does change a lot) and the pizza's are very good. They have a variety of prices to include all pocketbooks. I agree... more

I live in town and have been to Trio a few times, both summer and winter. On our last visit we had the Clams Casino Pizza and it was excellent. Many people had recommended it. So this afternoon we decided to go down for a cocktail and appetizer. First when we asked to sit on the outside patio they said... more

This is the sort of restaurant I associate with a California beach town: warm vibes, friendly service, a gorgeous terrace with distant views of the ocean, and a lunch menu of (what else can I say?) California comfort food like terrific salads, designer pizzas, and yellow-fin tuna burgers. There's a good wine list, too. On a sunny spring afternoon, this... more

Went to trio during the summer months, and it was pretty good. Not spectacular, but pretty good. then i returned the other night, and it was awful. Ordered an antipasto for my table, and recieved a platter of Subway quality meat with some plain canned artichokes and something they called "tomato butter". Apparently the recipe must read something like this...."open... more

First, this is comming from a local "foodie"........My husband and I were anxious to try Trio but kind of stayed away during turist season (sorry to you from ny/ct!). Finally the other night we figured it's still a nice evening, so give it a go. We knew it was going to be on the pricey side, so we ordered a... more

We go to Naragansett every year (really Scarborough Beach right up the road) and have our favorites. This year, we heard this restaurant was new. We drove by and saw it was really inviting from the outside, so went for an early dinner at 5pm. The hostess said they have only been open since May but it has become extremely... more
