Popped in as Portofinos was not bothering to serve but that is another review. My friend said this was the best Thai in town and she was not wrong. I am suffering with a massive head cold but the taste and smells did not fail. The food was beautifully presented as were the staff and the dining room. A very... More

Portions are large and reasonable priced. Decor is clean. Nice recommendation from our server. Was a nice place to eat while I was on vacation.

Siam square never disappoints and the service is wonderful. The dining room is nicely done and plenty big for large parties. (they even did separate checks for us!). Also great for take out to bring home to the family.

I have been to the Siam Square once a week for the past three weeks. The food is surprisingly excellent. I have done pick-up orders only so cannot comment on the ambience of the restaurant itself. I have eaten a lot of Thai and this food holds up to most places I have been to quite well. Am planning on... More

Their Pad Thai is THE best, although they consistently overcook the shrimp, so I order it with just chicken. The chicken madness is outstanding also-a lovely combination of flavors; salty, spicy with a hint of sour. I love the teriyaki salmon that has loads of ginger, but once again, they overcook the fish every time (more than 3 times).

Nestled in a small mall, they offer great Thai food. Not far from Newport and on a main drag so it is easy to find. The menu is varied and the food comes to the table well prepared and piping hot. Try a sizzling platter. Nice Thai ambiance with booths and tables.

OK, I may not be an excellent judge of Thai cuisine but I have tried half a dozen or so Thai restaurants where I've had dozens of dishes over the years so I know what makes me happy. A couple of miles out from downtown Newport, Siam Square offers a nice alternative to the heavily tourist oriented dining choices to... More

Siam Sq is perfectly acceptable Thai, but not more than that. As is typical for RI it tends to be somewhat bland, disturbingly sweet, and low in heat compared to the Thai you'll get at good Thai restarants in major cities. Some holes in their menu too, like no som tum salads. That said, they make perfectly fine versions of... More

Small place, but very pleasant ambiance and great Thai food. With a call ahead, this is a perfect place for a group up to 15, a family, or a romantic dinner. Staff was very attentive.

Twenty years ago I had a spicy chicken salad at a hole in the wall on Thayer Street in Providence. It was delicious! I loved it. The restaurant lost its lease and that was the end. So for the next two decades I searched. I went to thai restaurants all over the US and the world. I even went to... More
