We went in for lunch. There was a hair on my Clam Chowder bowl. The turkey club was barely edible - it was soggy and completely lackluster. The chicken fingers tasted like fish. The price on the menu and what we were actually charged was different - so keep an eye on your bill. And keep an eye on your... More

You walk in to a bar with a pool table in the middle and chairs and tables around the room. Looks like it is a regular hang out for locals. The bartender on duty is the entire wait staff. But I can not stress this enough the food is outstanding. Have the braised short rib.

Great food at a reasonable price, parking, not crowded, and a nice sunset over looking the reservoir .

The chef is very hands on and she works hard at cooking food to scratch. However, this is more a dive bar than a place to have a sit down meal. It would be fine for appetizers and drinks. Service was slow and not the friendliness. The food was fine but I would not expect great service and some of... More

Well, we should have left after seeing the menu with an overabundance of spelling errors. The bartender and chef appeared to be operating the restaurant alone-- no host, no server, no manager, just them. The chef brought us the food. The bartender did not know how to make a drink on the menu. The food was actually not bad compared... More

My son and I went there for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the people. Service was high quality and responsive to our needs. Highly recommended!

The weather was not good, so called in to get away from the wind and clouds. Found really nice people, Kenny, Pat and John all welcoming and happy to talk. Best clam chowder we've had in Newport

went to go to upstairs dining and was told there was a 'private party" ... it was empty and dark. one of the group looked up there and saw no one. so why lie? music from box was excessively loud .. got turned down but still loud. way over priced for mediocre food! learned a lesson... don't go!

If you like to over pay for sub par food then this is your place. Foods not good...service even worse...would recommend this place to an enemy.

Used to go here back when it was Big Dogs, had great pub food and good prices, changed owners and now the food is overpriced and poor quality. Ordered boneless wings shortly after they opened and received 4 boneless wings for $8. Went back a week later, ordered the same wings, only received 2, and they said that's all you... More
