My IPA was great, as was my husband's dark beer. I ordered a cup of lobster bisque -- what I received was a reddish soup with a few grains of lobster --though it could have been anything, hard to tell, since it was spicy hot. I have no idea what was in it, but almost no cream or lobster. My... More

My family and I were staying in Middletown and, as I always do, I asked the desk staff for ideas where the locals go. They gave me a few ideas and we chose to try Coddington Brewing Co. Let's start with the service, which was excellent. My party was 4 adults and my 2 year old granddaughter. Our hostess seated... More

I was visiting family in R.I. and this was one of the only places that is open later so we decides to go here. Their food was amazing, not one complaint. Our waitress was very attentive, and kept cracking jokes with us all night. I will be coming back here again!

My husband suggested we go here while we were staying in the Newport area. He loved his prime rib and bacon wrapped scallops. I had baked scallops and found them to be tasteless. The red bliss mashed potatoes were bland and the asparagus was ok. The salads were fine, nothing out of the ordinary. We had the sampler of beer... More

We decided to eat here at lunch as the wharf area was too crowded and we could not find a parking place. I had the fried scallops and my husband had the fish & chips both were very good. I recommend the Blueberry Blonde Ale!

The beer is different every time we come. The staff and food are hit or miss. I recently visited The Coddington Brew Co for dinner with a friends from out of town. The service was friendly, we shared a bottle of wine but we were disappointed with our meals. We might wait awhile before we go back till they update... More

The seafood and steak we're really good! The prices were very reasonable. Very nicely decorated with brewery artifacts and the actual brewing equipment is viewable from the dining room. Pretty cool.

After a long day on a rugby pitch, we needed a meal. Coddington is always reliable. I ordered some littlenecks on the half shell and Scallops Portuguese. The clams were OK, but I have had better. The scallops were excellent and the Vienna Lager is what I needed. My mates had burgers, fries, and beer and seemed to enjoy them.... More
