you grab your food at a window then go sit down. i didn't love the seafood and i thought it was pricey.
This is the worst setup ever. I will never eat here again. If you want to belly up to a bar or serve yourself then this restaurant is 5 star. There is a downstairs kitchen and upstairs kitchen. The menu is split, part ordered downstairs and the other ordered upstairs. Pay for each at each location. Stupid setup. It's the... More
This place is amazing... Don't go here if you're expecting fancy or table service though. You order at the counter, grab a table and wait for your lobster to light up and go collect your food.. Ate here for lunch on a beautiful day, sat upstairs. We had the clam cakes which were the best I've ever had, a clam... More
This is truly an Olde New England Clam Shack. With that in mind, you should expect a "no frills" dining experience. Portions are very good, and the view of First Beach and the Cliff Walk is phenomenal. Yes, you wait in line to order, and you seat yourself. The restaurant is nothing more than a great little clam shack. The... More
When we asked which restaurant we should eat at, we were told Flo's. Coincidently our hotel was next door. Flo's is a walk up to order restaurant. We put in our order with a very unfriendly woman, found a seat and waited. We got clam chowder which was very average. Then we got clams. They tasted odd. The reviews over... More
Stopped in here as it looked nice from the outside with a nice ocean view from the second floor. The wait to order your food outside was not to bad and we were greeted by a friendly lady who promptly took our order for a Lobster Roll Dinner Platter and a Whole Belly Clam Platter ($40.00). Our little plastic lobster... More
We split the Fisherman's Platter. A lot of really good, greasy fried seafood. Too much for two people but quite a value for the price.
Seriously good food. Clam strips were incredible. Lobster roll is fantastic because they do not put anything with the lobster. Just yummy pieces of lobster on bread. We were there on a Friday night when they had a prime rib special and it was very, very good. Great prices on food and beer! Loved being able to sit on the... More
I love Flos's. There is another in Portsmouth, across the street from the water, no seating inside and open in the summer only. In the winter we go to this one, in Middletown. Legal Seafood was like this way back in the 60's...paper plates, no desserts, menu posted, etc., no frills. Personally, I always (nearly) go to Flo's for fried... More
when i pay a lot of money for a meal I do expect it to be served a little differently, here you have to order at the bar pay straight away, collect it yourself and everything is plasic , plates glasses, cutlery, the staff were unhelpful and just not interested, oh and the food was very average.
