Good food, great margaritas

We had lunch here yesterday. Food was very good, the margaritas were great. Not a fancy place, but I had heard that this was where the locals went for Mexican food, so we tried it. I'd go back next time I'm in town.

Great staff. Had the tacos and burritos with refried beans. Pepsi and DosXX. Service was excellent. Bath room was excellent. Facility was very clean.

We sat at the bar and ate dinner. Josh the bartender was the best part of the experience. The chips were good before the meal came, but we wanted some additional hot salsa and they had nothing, just some bottled stuff on the bar. The food while not bad wasn't close to good Mexican food. If the prices were cheap... More

Generic Mexican food. Salsa tastes store bought. This is a one and done place for me. The carne asada burrito was rolled twice.

The only thing worth going here is for the Guacamole. Really delicious guacamole with tostitos but everything else we ordered was way too salty and spicy. Just 'cus it's Mexican doesn't mean everything has to taste like Jalapenos. Ordered the Verde Enchiladas and the salsa verde was way too bitter. Giving it an average rating because the service was friendly... More

The service is very slow if you're not drinking. It seems the more beer or margarita one consumes the quicker their food order arrives.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Eat in or take out, we've never been disappointed here. The atmosphere and look also give you that Mexican feeling.Margaritas too !!! It's a little ironic that it is located next to the Taco Bell but they have coexisted for so many years because they are so different.

Much better than taco bell in quality and health. A very large variety of Mexican dishes on the menu. Can get beer and Sangria as well.

This place came highly recommended when I had to travel to Newport for some business. They are tucked neatly in on the Main Rd and parking is somewhat limited on their left side. I ordered the Baja Fish Taco platter and they were superb. Perfectly cooked fish over a bed of slaw with a nice pico de gallo. Came with... More
