Not so nice people!!!I would recommend hair net's for the people that work with the food.I tryed the pizza to see what all the talk was about. Not so good for the PRICE you pay.

This review is vague. What does it mean to describe someone as "not so nice"? Specifically, what was it in that person/s that you found to be "not so nice"? What is reviewer implying by stating that the staff "should wear hair nets"? It's doubtful that reviewer found hair in his/her food as, judging from the tone of his/her comments,... More

We love this quaint little spot for their Caprese sandwiches and scones. We have no problem going out of our way to go over the bridge just to enjoy their pizzas on a Sunday night.

We travel east nearly every other Sunday night for PIZZA!!! The only day it's available. Located on Jamestown (Conanicut Is.) just 10 minutes from our home. Jammed to the rafters on Sunday night, Dori and crew manage to get the orders out in 10-15 minutes (a bit longer when all the summer folk are in town) but well worth the... More

I took off one star because of price and selection. However, that said, what they do sell is very good. You will not be disappointed regardless of what you select.

The food is delicious, really delicious. While Dori remembers everybody's name, ( thereby making us locals feel pretty special) she is pleasant and courteous to everyone and your second time in, she' will remember your name too! And her husband Andrea is equally friendly, greeting folks from back in the kitchen. The brownies are terrific, ice tea refreshing, morning pastries... More

I've heard about pizza night here for years, and found myself in the neighborhood recently on a Sunday night, so stopped in. It certainly is popular, the line was out the door, and it took at least 15minutes to get to the counter to order. While it seems that the pizzas are prepared with good intent, they are quite small,... More

Our bakery offers high quality authentic Italian wood-fired pizzas which are 10-12 inches in diamater. If larger size is of main concern as evidenced by the review, than it might be best to go to commercial pizzeria chains which offer Large, Extra Large, Super Large, etc... Our pizza is authentic traditional (real) Italian style pizzas as served all over Italy... More

We went here at least a year ago, so I don't remember much about it except that the ingredients were very fresh and there were creative food items

This bakery is only open Friday - Sunday. Can you believe it? I go bike riding in the mornings, and stop to pick up goodies on my way home. I'm there by about 8:00, and they have usually already sold out of things. The place is a gem that for some reason is only open 3 days per week. Muffins... More

We're visiting Jamestown, RI from Santa Cruz, CA, proud home to a half-dozen excellent bakeries, but in my opinion, the baked goods at Jamestown's Village Hearth surpasses them all. On Saturday morning we were surprised to find no conventional breakfasts on the menu, so we ordered grilled sandwiches to satisfy our wish for something savory. They were delicious, so we... More
