After spending the day bopping about the Jamestown area, we decided to grab an early dinner before heading home. We first stopped at Simpatico and sat down, and then saw the menu and it was not to our liking at all and left. Limited selections, very high prices, and very little light fare (sandwiches? none). The reason it was obviously... More

This is a nice friendly restaurant in the heart of Jamestown. We had a fantastic bartender, Mike, who was always smililing, cheerful, and attentive . We enjoy sitting at the bar when we go. Everyone is so friendly here.

We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant by the sea. It was very charming and bright. The service was excellent and so was the food. There were three adults and two children. One is 8 months old and the other child is two. We started with crab cakes that were the best I ever had. The romulade sauce with... More

The food was good. Had the oysters fried and the beer was ok. Had to ask for a full pint of beer as the bartender thought a 3/4 full pint was proper.

Went to Newport on a busy Saturday but it was packed so we went to Jamestown for lunch. Our waitress was ok. We were seated in their very small but quaint dining area. Atmosphere was nice but I felt the staff was stressed. We ordered lobster rolls and drinks. The lobster was excellent w big chunks &a lightly seasoned cole... More

Everyone in our party of four loved this seafood haven. The steamers, salads, lobster rolls were very good. The bouillabaise came with a surprise - a layer of pasta that detracted somewhat from the total dish. Would return again.

We are on Jamestown all summer and are always pleased with our experience here. The atmosphere is always lively. Great bar to watch a game. Service is good. The appetizers and raw bar are terrific. Main dishes are just OK and a bit pricey. You won't be disappointed.

it has all the attributes of a good place - quaint and great location. but it appears they have a "B" team in the kitchen of local pirates. Food was muddy tasting and not very inspiring to say the least. its too bad, with a good kitchen team they could rock the street. a little place like this could have... More
