Really great breakfast

My wife, daughter, and I recently ate breakfast at a Slice of Heaven prior to getting back on the road to drive nine hours home. I had the Grand Marnier french toast and my wife had a breakfast burrito while our daughter shared from our plates. Overall, it was a fantastic meal and I'd definitely... read more

This is where the locals go to have a great breakfast. Great food and great service. My favorite is the Grand Marnier French toast. Good coffee and why not a dessert from their bakery. A must do when in Jamestown, or worth the drive if not.

I brought my mom for breakfast recently. It was a bit busy but we were able to get a table outside. The selection has a little bit for anyone, if you want savory the smoked salmon cream cheese and bagel is amazing (bagels made fresh!), if you want sweet definitely go with the French toast! Everything is made to order... More

We stopped for a hearty breakfast for heading to Newport for a whirlwind tourist visit. Great selection of omelets, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, pastries and bagels. In addition, it’s the local barista for coffee. The service was very friendly. The food was very good with nice portions. Oh! And an excellent cup of coffee.

Their breakfast sandwich on croissant is excellent and they offer freshly squeezed orange juice. You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. Outdoor seating available in nice weather. Check out the artwork hung throughout - all by local artists/photographers. Have been there a couple times and will return.

Really enjoyed our late breakfast this morning after crossing the bridge from Newport based on recommendations from others during our visit. Totally worth the trip. We found the food to be fresh and not too heavy. We had the Lumberhacques and the Pomelette. The service was attentive, personable, and friendly. So were the other patrons. We'll be back!

We stopped in for a late lunch on a blah day in their area. I had a GF roast-beef sandwich which was excellent and the roast beef lovely, pink and plentiful. In fact, it was so much i had to take half home. My husband enjoyed a chicken sandwich, also delicious. The place was pretty full the whole time we... More

Whenever you are in Jamestown make time to eat breakfast or lunch at Slice of Heaven. There are food choices for everyone and the atmosphere is perfectly Jamestown, laid back, casual and comfortable. Sit inside or outside and enjoy the town.

Jamestown has become an automatic stop-over place for us any time in the area, and it's going to be difficult to unseat Slice of Heaven from being the go-to place for lunch (if it is nice enough to sit out on the terrace) or to pick up take-out sandwiches. All we can say, is the sandwiches are fantastic. Sandwiches feature... More
