As the name, signage, menu indicate, this is a seafood restaurant. That said, the seafood is excellent--order anything from the sea and it will be great. That said, their non-seafood items were very disappointing. Opted to go for a chicken with salad this visit and received what appeared to be a boxed chicken patty chopped up on top. Consistency was... More

Chopmist is standard seashore fair. Prices are a bit lower than other nearby restaurants. Has strong points and weak points and they have changed with each visit. Large, filling portions. Scallops were way overcooked one time. Water tasted like pool water another. However, another time everything was rich and flavorful. Could have been a change in staff. The issues were... More

Spent the day hiking with the family at fort wetherill and stopped here for dinner. We LOVED it. Our waitress Amanda was awesome and the food was delicious. Chowders, bisque, coconut fried shrimp, burgers, and pork shanks. Great prices for the portions and we left happily stuffed!

We ordered the 'Clam Digger'. It comes with a bowl of chowder (we got a cup), 2 stuffies that tasted awful. An odd spice, very over powering, just did not belong. They were dry, lemon juice & tabasco couldn't fix it, so they didn't get eaten. Coated fries? Yuk. Clams weren't too bad. But you only got 6 of them.... More

Small, quaint little restaurant on the main street in Jamestown. They have a nice "two for" menu. Nice selection of dinners. VERY friendly.

We had one of the weekday 'value' dinners and it was excellent - large portions and the food was very, very good. It's fairly casual - you don't need to get dressed up - but still very nicely decorated, so it's a nice occasion to come. The waitresses were very nice and the meal was inexpensive. There's nothing more you... More

We stopped by Chopmist Charlies on a frigid January evening for a late lunch of chowder and clam cakes. We decided to order some calamari and it was outstanding! The clam chowder (NE style) was also among the best I have had. But the best thing of all is the totally authentic New England village experience this restaurant serves its... More

This is a terrific restaurant/bar, with a vibrant and fun atmosphere. We were a party of six, and everyone thought their food was very tasty and very reasonably priced. The service was also very efficient, friendly and helpful. The setting is perfect for an evening of conversation and laughter, but be warned - it gets busy so advance booking is... More

Our favorite casual restaurant in Ri. If you haven't been here, you would be surprised by the quality and creativity of the dishes served here in a casual, friendly atmosphere favored by the Jamestown locals and summer visitors alike. Excellent seafood and great off season specials for two including a bottle of wine. It can compete which any of the... More

My husband and I are repeat customers so we know what kind of food and atmosphere you have. I ordered the Salmon BLT and my husband got a Cod sandwich. Mine came with fries and cole slaw. About 1/2 way through my meal I realized my salmon was undercooked. I asked a male server who came out with our meals... More
