Great pizza! Love the outdoor patio!

The pizza is great! I would definitely get that if I go back. My husband had the fish and chips and did not like it. The menu outside is different than inside and is a little bit more casual. The patio is awesome and the drinks are amazing!!!

We were leaving Newport and stopped at Jamestown Fish - the Apps were really super - Tuna sushi, Crab, Mozzarella & Heirloom tomatoes, even a special app - flash fried artichoke Quarters for dipping - also a Morgan Chardonnay - the apps were generous and well-priced, Wine was spectacular if a bit expensive - and two neat desserts- great service... Jamestown Fish is a restaurant that has 2 distinct personalities: the outdoor area serving pizza (plastic plates) and catering to a more casual, no-reservations-needed crowd...and the indoor fine dining experience that we had. The night we dined there, the outdoor patio was crowded and loud...full of hungry tourists and their noisy kids. The indoor dining room was practically empty. Since... More

I've never been in a restaurant that charges $28 for an entree and it gets served on a plastic plate- disgraceful! Also it is disgraceful to advertise the specials without the prices and then overcharge you for something that is not even worth it! Sword fish was like a hard sole and it was made from frozen. Prossecco was served... More

The best choice in Jamestown. Certainly many steps up the ladder from tourist food. The outside venue is very nice. The food is good but hardly great. I had Bluefish with spinach, tomatoes and potatoes. The fish was nicely done, the side, nothing special. Lynn had a burger. We each had one glass of wine. The tally was $100. We... More

Had the pleasure of dining on the 2nd flr balcony on a perfect weather evening. Much quieter than the patio below & the option of the full menu. The wait staff were both attentive and helpful in answering our questions concerning their menu that evening. Their recommendations did not disappoint. We had the eggplant as an appetizer and the swordfish... More

The smelts, and artichoke tempura appetizers were delicious. My husband's hamburger was huge, my lobster salad with artichokes and tomatoes was fantastic. We can't tell you how the pizza was. Our friends had ordered the pizza, and when our meals were served, they were told it would be out in a few minutes. Despite being told "in a few minutes"... More

My friends and I ate at this restaurant recently. We had a large group of about ten and the restaurant was able to accommodate us after a short wait. We were seated outside which was really nice. We ordered a variety of food from fish to pork to beef. Everyone was very happy with their selection. I ordered the fish... More

The restaurant was very busy and we ended up waiting at the "Narragannsett"- a bar across the stree which was fun. We ate on the patio whose menue apparently varies from the inside. Three of us had grilled, fresh caught (120 miles south according to the chef) mahi which was well prepared. Another had fried flounder which was somewhat breaded... More

Slowest service I've ever had. Went on a Wednesday night and waited 45 minutes for our appetizer. Great ambiance and great waitress but don't go hungry... You will wait.
