We had a great family dinner here. I had the Fishpot that was a combination of lots of Rhode Island seafood. It was PACKED with seafood. My Mom got the sea scallops. They were fantastic (I had a taste and I was almost jealous). One of our party doesn't eat fish but is not a vegetarian. She wasn't excited about... More

My husband & I were excited to spend our 34th wedding anniversary dinner at Jamestown Fish because we love the delicious food, refined ambiance and exceptional service there! What we experienced far exceeded our wildest expectations. We tasted foods impeccably prepared -from a seductive chilled spring greens soup; an octopus appetizer- the first and only time I have ever enjoyed... More

We were offered to eat either in the main floor dining area or upstairs in the bar area. We chose to eat upstairs, mainly so that I could follow the NBA draft on the muted TV. Great choice! There was both the bar menu and the main downstairs menu. We chose from the main menu; my wife had the eggplant... More

Made reservation a few days out. The restaurant had everything ready for my family and I upon arrive. The dress of semiformal inside the restaurant, but that is just my impression. The menu for the day was fantastic. Comprehensive wine and cocktail selection with a menu for every seafood lover. Take away - great restaurant in the town area of... More

Expensive for the results. My lobster roll was ok but certainly not the quantity which the waitress indicated. Service was slow even though our area only had three occupied tables. Waitress needed to be reminded to bring some basic items the table and the needed to be asked a second time; eg, sweetener and bread. No bread was served at... More

I took my friend here last night for her birthday and we had made reservations. However, the reservations are only for the formal dining room. It was a beautiful evening and we really wanted to sit outside. They said we could sit up on the Bridge Deck and we're very accommodating. It just got better from there.....great appetizers (get the... More

Went to fish and had killer apps on patio. Fried smelt is tasty, light , fresh and crunchy. The aroncini are an excellent mushroom variety. The oven fired pizzas are very good with imaginative toppings. Only bummer is the use of plastic for wine glasses?? Takes away from an excellent selection of wines.

Hello, So glad you enjoyed the appetizers and your wine. In the name of safety we decided to use those top quality BPA free wine glasses. We would be happy to serve you in a real glass to improve your experience. Next time, just ask. See you soon. Matthew More

My husband and I, who live in East Greenwich, RI, celebrated our 10-year anniversary here (and since we had a newborn at home it was a special treat to get out!). When we made our reservations we mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary and were greeted with complimentary glasses of champagne. Service was excellent throughout the meal and everything we... My daughter and I stopped in here on Mother's Day just for cocktails. We were seated on the Bridge Deck, which was nice. When we ordered our drinks it started to go downhill fast. I wanted a white sangria, the waitress said that "required marinating"... my daughter tends bar part-time and thought that sounded ridiculous. The waitress said they would see... More

Went to Jamestown Fish two evenings in a row and tried various items on the menu. This is one of the best seafood restaurants I know. The freshness of the ingredients and subtlety of the flavors are truly impressive. In addition, the wine list is excellent and the service is impeccable. The chefs are wonderfully personable and warm people. Highly... More
