From the outside, you might not expect great food and excellent service. Step inside, and you will be surrounded by warm hues of the floor to ceiling paneling. You will also be treated as a close friend by the hostess/waitress/bar tender. Try the eggplant fries, one of the best things I had ever tasted. The menu has many options, including... More

This place would have ranked higher if it was not so loud. Other than that it was good. The service was excellent, the menu gave lots of options and there was a huge list of specials that sounded great, and the value was excellent. We tried the "stuffie" as someone suggested, it was good, but one would have been enough.... More

Try the "Stuffie" - it's a stuffed quahog, awesome! Went a few times while in Providence, had the chicken quesadillas, seafood special (enough for two meals) AND the New England Clam chowder is the best EVER!

Love this place. I have gone for years and yet, Manny always has some great special that surprises me. I tend to go for my favorites, but he tempts me with interesting dishes. Stuffed quahogs are the best I have ever had, and I am a lifelong Rhode Islander. Thanks, Manny. Paul W.

This quaint little place is never dissapointing. The food is wonderful, the portions are big,and the service has never disappointed even on a busy night. The chef seems to know his stuff. I recommend the red zuppa as a starter (the littlenecks for non RIers) with extra bread to soak up that goodness with. My girls like buffalo mac and cheese... More

This has become one of my favorites for two reasons, the value for what you get is incredible and the food is truly great. The pan fried haddock with a spicy shrimp sauce is one of my favs. The chowder is different every time but always good. They offer specials on Fri & Sat and possibly Thurs as well. Ultra... More

I stopped by the Red Bridge Tavern to grab a quick lunch. It has a pleasant pub atmosphere that could use a little updating. Very much a neighborhood restaurant with the usual pub food and a smattering of Portuguese fare (nice). I had the fish and chips which was not only delicious but a healthy portion. All in all, an... In my decades of living in the area, i never knew about this restaurant until recently. My husband works nearby, so had frequented it for lunch several times, but not until recently did we both visit for dinner. I certainly will return. Pub like cozy atmosphere. Check out their daily food specials. Decent portions. Decent service. Located at the end... More

This is a small intimate tavern. I was amazed at the great menuchoices they offered for a relatively small restaurant. We went with another couple started off with a wonderful calamari. Each of us selected a different dinner choice and everyone was happy with both the quality and portions of their meals. the server was excellent and the prices were... More
