Try the "Stuffie" - it's a stuffed quahog, awesome! Went a few times while in Providence, had the chicken quesadillas, seafood special (enough for two meals) AND the New England Clam chowder is the best EVER!

Love this place. I have gone for years and yet, Manny always has some great special that surprises me. I tend to go for my favorites, but he tempts me with interesting dishes. Stuffed quahogs are the best I have ever had, and I am a lifelong Rhode Islander. Thanks, Manny. Paul W.

This quaint little place is never dissapointing. The food is wonderful, the portions are big,and the service has never disappointed even on a busy night. The chef seems to know his stuff. I recommend the red zuppa as a starter (the littlenecks for non RIers) with extra bread to soak up that goodness with. My girls like buffalo mac and cheese... More

This has become one of my favorites for two reasons, the value for what you get is incredible and the food is truly great. The pan fried haddock with a spicy shrimp sauce is one of my favs. The chowder is different every time but always good. They offer specials on Fri & Sat and possibly Thurs as well. Ultra... More

I stopped by the Red Bridge Tavern to grab a quick lunch. It has a pleasant pub atmosphere that could use a little updating. Very much a neighborhood restaurant with the usual pub food and a smattering of Portuguese fare (nice). I had the fish and chips which was not only delicious but a healthy portion. All in all, an... In my decades of living in the area, i never knew about this restaurant until recently. My husband works nearby, so had frequented it for lunch several times, but not until recently did we both visit for dinner. I certainly will return. Pub like cozy atmosphere. Check out their daily food specials. Decent portions. Decent service. Located at the end... More

This is a small intimate tavern. I was amazed at the great menuchoices they offered for a relatively small restaurant. We went with another couple started off with a wonderful calamari. Each of us selected a different dinner choice and everyone was happy with both the quality and portions of their meals. the server was excellent and the prices were... More

Great assortment of food choices in a comfortable tavern atmosphere. Prices are decent and food was good although they were out of some things on their menu and specials list (which I assume means people loved them and ordered them.) Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals which included fried whole belly clams , steak sandwiches and roast chicken. Our... More

The Red Bridge Tavern offers great specials that are fresh and delicious. The people are friendly and you can sit around and chat before and after your meal. While lots of things on the menu are delicious we often order the specials since they are usually so thoughtful and delicious. They also make a great cosmopolitan!
