Been here many times as my kids take gymnastics lessons next door. Must say the food isn't very good at all. The food is greasy and boring. But for some reason the place is always busy despite the fact that EG has 20 better restaurants...

The food is always great and the staff always helpful. The New England Clam chowder is one of a kind and you can only find here at Richards Pub. If visiting in Rhode Island its not far from TF Green Airport and certainly worth a trip for dinner or lunch.

My husband and I went on Saturday night and the place was packed. We think it was because of a URI BB game. Most we done and we got right in. We had great service and wonderful meal. Will be going back many times.

Where the locals go. Nothing fancy about this place. Generally the food is quite good. Service is good as well. No matter how busy they are you are never rushed. Martinis are the best. Specials just about every day. Folks are not bashful. You might find a commercial fisherman or an attorney sitting next to you. It really is a... More

Have been going to Richard's for years, over a decade, and never thought to write a review. We were there this week and decided it was time! Food is excellent! Pub fare but they have pasta and other meals as well. Best burger ever! Their seafood is always fresh, everything cooked to order. Service is exceptional! They make a mean... More

I looked to TripAdvisor reviews before going to this restaurant which was suggested by my husband. Wow - was I disappointed... food was below average - service wasn't much better. I guess I'd have to call this place a Gregg's wanna-be - Richard's Pub doesn't even come close in quality of food and overall experience. Decor is pretty outdated -... More

Richard's Pub makes the best Martinis around - perfectly prepared and served with a sidecar. Their food selections are simple - mostly the classic dishes of burgers, salads, sandwiches and a small selection of seafood, chicken and beef entrees. The specials are mostly comfort foods - with one creative twist in there. Family friendly dining, and a large bar area... More

I'm not sure how some of the readers could ever say anything bad about Richard's. My husband and I can go there and stuff ourselves for no more than $25. How is that expensive? And their food never tastes cheap, always fresh (order a salad!). Burgers are top quality beef, fish is always fresh, and the onion soup is unreal.... More

Richards has really great food, especially the steak sandwiches and french onion soup. The downside is that it attracts an older crowd and can be pretty expensive. I usually just get it for takeout and rent a movie but can only go there once or twice a year since it is so pricey. Would rather go to Greggs.
