How much deliciousness can you pack in to a bowl? I am not sure but this place packs in a lot of subtle flavors. The broth is superb, it doesn't need any sriracha or any other condiments besides the standard the bean sprouts, jalapeño and Thai basil. The place is simple, just like most restaurants in Vietnam, the food speaks... More

This restaurant is definitely a casual eatery, but the food is tasty. Some of my families favorites: -GOI CUON (Fresh spring rolls) - BANH HOI CHA GIO (Grilled beef on Vermicelli) -COM TAY CAM (Clay pot with shrimp, chicken breast, and vegetables) If you want to eat great on budget try the Pho. These bowls of soup with noodles and... More

So after 4 months of dining at Minh Hai, I would say we love it! Not just pho, and they have beef broth and chicken broth, some places don't separate. The grilled meat with special rice is awesome. Drinks are good too, although I have still yet to try the bubble tea, haven't been able to justify the calories... :)... More

An unexpected gem! The food is amazing. Best Vietnamese food I have had in a long time, and excited to find it near my home. The food was wonderfully flavorful and quickly prepared. Very good service and will be eating here often.

So, after a lousy lunch, we decided to take another chance to fix a pho soup craving. We have yet to fid a good Vietnamese restaurant so far. Turns out Minh Hai is pretty good. Thanks to the other 5 reviewers, we stopped in to try. You smell the food as soon as you walk in. Yes, asian family restaurant,... More

This is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. The food is consistently excellent, with strong flavors and good portions. The pho is consistently terrific. The imperial rolls are hot and crispy and delicious. It's true that in rare cases the service is somewhat lacking... /tell them/. This is a family-run business, and they take service very seriously. They'll make it... More

The place is small and not very well kept. The pho was somewhat "strong smelling", but tasted fine. The summer rolls were good. The fruit shakes were great. The place was very unkempt, finished bowls left on the tables and just one person working the whole restaurant. the bathroom was not very neat at all.

We have been fans of Minh Hai since the brothers Minh and Hai opened the restaurant several years ago. Hai has since returned to Oakland, but the quality remains superb. Most of RI's pan-Asian restaurants have similar menus and tastes; this one is unique. The recipes come from auntie's in Oakland, and they are superb. Favorites include: An app of... More

Minh Hai is run by a very hard working family. The food is tasty and they are happy to explain the various dishes to you. Be sure to try to some bubble tea.

The food is very fresh, eye appealing and tasty. Wait staff are very friendly and attentive. They have many exotic dishes and drinks. Too bad I don't remember their names but go try restaurant for yourself. You won't be sorry if you like Thai and Asian food.
