Just like Nana's house

Great food! Just like Sundays at Nana's. Everyone was friendly forr the most part. The waitresses are all business to make sure you get your food hot and have everything you need.

this is real old style Italian and is in the VFW hall. The people who do the cooking are really outstanding and know how to prepare old school style meals. This sauce tastes like it has been in the pot for many hours and the veal, meatballs, gravy, pasta are so right on the mark. You should go here and use this place... More

A wonderful meal. have eaten here many, many times. very old school. truly a locals place but newbies welcomed. the food is exceptional. chef worked in touristy italian restaurant for years before coming here. a quirky, no frills atmosphere, with some of the best italian food around. veal parm, stuffed artichokes, salmon with herb butter sauce, etc. and very, very low... Mike's is a great casual place that offers the best Italian American dishes in RI. They make the best polenta, it is rich and creamy and served with a marinara sauce that does not overpower it. Mike's offer fried smelts that are spot on with a light dredging of flour that are always perfect. The whole stuffed artichoke is huge... More

It had been about two years since my last visit......found service to have really improved!! Our servier was friendly and efficient.......but very disappointed with the eggplant parmigiana which is my go to lunch at this restaurant. Prices are fair and generous portions. Not sure if we will return to this restaurant.

One of the best kept secrets for excellent Italian food.No atmosphere but great value. In a VFW the food is so good I can't wait to go back. The chefs from the hill go there.

It's nothing fancy, but the Italian menu is every day food Italians eat and very varied. The prices are reasonable and you do get plenty. The average person will not go hungry. The drinks are purchased separate from the food menu for some reason. The service is fine. It has a neighborhood atmosphere. I go there once in awhile.

Mike's kitchen is a above average place to eat, although the chicken tends to be dry and his grinders are nothing special. It seems like the food is pre cooked then heated and served when ordered. The place is PRICEY for the amount of average food that you get.
