My office ordered two steak subs (only come in one size) a side of polenta and one individual meatball side. The polenta was very good. Meatball was okay (mine are better and I'm not Italian. The subs, just regular subs with some fat and gristle not cut off, we average. The bill $36.00. WOW~~YIKES...Can that be right? Last order we... More

This is one of the best restaurants for homemade Italian cuisine in the state... you cannot beat the portions or the price. What it lacks in ambiance is more than made up for with generous portions of excellent Italian-American fare that would impress even the most critical Nonna. Try a stuffed artichoke while you're there, and polenta, and any entree... More

Mike's is as simple as it gets - not the least bit fancy. You're greeted by a "Don't Sit at Dirty Tables" sign and lots of conversational noise. You get two servers - one for food and the other for beverages and cocktails. The selection is rather extensive for a relatively small place - a current VFW Post. The meals... More

No atmosphere, waitresses that look like they want to go home, a separate drink waitress who you pay as you go and great food at a great price. Fish, pasta, soups. It's all good. And my dad says they have some of the best tripe in Rhode Island.

Slip into your jeans, grab some neighbors or friends and head out for an evening of awesome food at this homely restaurant. Totally not fancy but awesome italian fare not to be seconded. I hope to go there Monday PM for rabies and cannelini beans with grilled chicken on top. Ah that is heaven. The fra diablo or the veal... More

This was our first time here. What a pleasant surprise. First off, this place is in a VFW Post. Second, it is not a beautiful place since the tables are in the center of this hall. Third, the food made up for all of it. Really, really good. It was Italian home made as you can get. I had gnocci... More

If you are looking for fine dining with a great ambiance this is not your restaurant. If you are looking for great food and value in a clean "hall" environment this is your place. The menu has a great variety of Italian and Seafood dinners. The Calamari is a super way to start of your meal. On recent visits I... More

I've dined here MANY times in the years I have lived in Cranston.. It's quirky little hole in the wall style does no justice to the fabulous food served here. No matter what time of day, lunch or dinner, date-night or family night.. you'll never get a bad meal here. Italian and seafood.. YUM!! Large portions, always enough to take... More

Mike's kitchen is a classic Cranston eatery with a reputation that goes well beyond Rhode Island. It was originally recommended to me by a chef at one of RIs high end eateries. He knew I lived in Cranston and told me I had to eat at this place. I went there with my family - we were seated by the... More

The veal parm. is absolutely awesome!!! Even the tomato sause was excellent. We were told that a chef that works on atwell's ave. in Providence goes here! Now I know why!
